Oh, to remember a time when people thought that a high degree in artificial intelligence was wasteful; A time when androids were nothing but a fantasy-- Something that was never thought to be obtained. But here, the creations were very much real. Growing, learning, and updating there way into history. Perhaps, as Amanda grew up, her love for science fiction was enough to fuel her desires to bring some of that action to life. Now, with codes and with trials, the impossible is now everything but.
She’d came to this floor to visit with some coders and technicians in means of learning what they were currently creating. Some ideas seemed.. better than others, but they were always improving. That was the most important thing, after all. But, something she saw in her silent browsing did catch her eye. She thought that she could improve upon this idea in privacy.
So, after syncing some notes for her own self indulgence, Amanda decided to head down to her own laboratory. Although, she hadn’t expected to meet Callum Anderson on her way there. He always seemed particularly cheery. ..Who had the energy to be that extroverted all the time?
“Yes. To the labs.” She answered quite short and sweet as if she didn’t want to make any small talk right now. ....But, this was Callum. She had to play a little bit of nice to him, didn’t she? With a raise of her eyebrow, Amanda finally turned to look at him.
“Oh, and it is wonderful to see you, too. I’ve heard chatter that the company has been thriving under your leadership.” Amanda said just seconds before the elevator that they waited for dinged. As the doors slid open in a smooth fashion, Ms. Stern walked into the elevator with her own datapad in hand.
