I have children. They aren’t vaccinated. I wasn’t vaccinated. Nor were my brothers and sisters or cousins. Vaccines do not prevent diseases. Modern sanitation and plumbing. Every country that still has these diseases are the ones that are underdeveloped. They bring them vaccines and it only makes them sicker since their immune systems are already weak. I also know several moms who are nurses who don’t vaccinate.

I wasn’t going to get involved in this, but your comment about under-developed countries really irked me.

Hi, I’m Nigerian. Nigeria is a very diverse country, and we have urban areas and rural areas. My country is considered a third world country. With diseases like malaria and other things we ensure, I can assure you that a lot of Nigerians do not have weak immune systems.

Now that that’s down, I was vaccinated. Most people who grew up in urban areas like myself were vaccinated. Diseasese like polio and measles are pretty much non-existent in urban areas because people don’t get them, or when they do it usually passes fast. Now, these urban areas aren’t necessarily clean (In fact, a lot of them are dirty).Poorer people however, who grew up in less urban places and have less access to vaccines are the ones who still get diseases like polio (Also, rural areas arent necessarily dirty. I’ve been to my village and it was pretty clean).

While sanitation can have a bearing on your exposure to diseases, that’s not the only reason people don’t get sick. Please don’t bring up less developed countries in your under-developed arguments when you’re clearly ignorant about the way those countries work.

They use a stronger virus in the oral vaccine and it has different effects from the vaccine with the weaker virus (the injected one). Because it’s stronger, it has more chance of mutating. That doesn’t mean they have weaker immune systems. That’s doctors choosing to save money and making mistakes along the way. Like any other form of medicine, vaccines are still being developed and improved upon.

Also, it states right there in the article that the injected vaccine protects from the polio derived from the oral vaccine. Outbreaks also only happen where there aren’t enough kids immunised. How does this debunk what I said?

“ART SKILL” Is subjective, someone might have a worse grasp on anatomy & technique but great ideas or grasp of color/design, or vise versa. someone might be INCREDIBLE at drawing detailed anatomy but be completely shit at composition and color theory.
