Hey, everybody! I miss keeping up with you all, and crying about Fringe, but work has kept me so busy the past year. I decided to take to Tumblr today with a small request: If it's something you can comfortably do, even a penny donation is helpful (It's Tumblr. Pennies can add up XD). My family's sweet boy needs an operation to keep his kneecap from continuously popping out, which gives him pain and a limp. We tend to have the money we need for food, shelter, and nice things like internet and TV, but we don't have a budget for $4,000 extra unexpected dollars. I see many fundraisers around the internet, and I've donated to a few in which my friends were in serious need of help. I get that we can't give our money to everybody who needs it. So, let me be clear: I'm not begging. I'm not pleading. But, if you could help out, we would be so grateful (and, so would Smudgey!) More Information Here
Fringe In A Nutshell
When you are modeling, you have a million things to think about. I find nude modeling so much easier because you just have to feel yourself move, and not worry about the movement of a garment. As someone with Interstitial Cystitis and Chronic Pelvic Pain, I am used to being very aware of my body. My pain is under control right now, and for that I am grateful. I don’t generally feel that burning, agonizing, feeling like lava is filling up your bladder kind of pain, unless I stray from my strict “IC diet,” ride in a car, or do strenuous physical exercise. Sound difficult to control? It is. Especially since riding in the car is a normal part of life, being extremely physically active was basically my job until I got this illness, and the diet I am on is so strict that when people hear what it involves I often get looks of disbelief, or comments such as “I couldn’t live like that.” The truth is, yes, you CAN live like that, and many of us out there do. For many IC sufferers the diet is not a choice. It is the difference between a fairly average day, or one spent in the hospital. My pelvic physical therapist told me I am her most diet sensitive patient she has met. It is something that is a blessing and a curse to me. I am thankful for it, because it gives me more control. So many woman with IC are in pain regardless of what they eat, so being able to control that is great. However, not eating any fruit, foods with coloring, preservatives, gluten, or citric acid, is really difficult! To help with my boring food life I have written so many recipes this past year. And now I am really good at cooking, when before all this I could barely make mac and cheese! I will end with that, :) Since I didn’t go into too much detail, here is some more general info on the disease itself if you are curious. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/interstitial-cystitis/basics/definition/con-20022439
A dear friend of mine; absolutely beautiful inside and out. ❤
So, yesterday was one of the infrequent times I went to Sephora.
My birthday is this month, and I was eligible to receive a small gift. I like gifts. In the email I received, I was shown two gift options: a set of two NARS mini lip pencils or a skin care product.
I politely asked the cashier for my birthday gift, and she handed me the lip pencils.
I said something like "Oh. Wasn't there a skin care product?"
Cashier who looked like she didn't want to be there: "Oh, that's the male option." Me: "Male option?"
Cashier: "Yes. We do have male customers."
Clearly she misunderstood my surprise, which wasn't toward the gender of Sephora customers. It was directed at the fact that apparently this anti-aging thing and cucumber gel mask was apparently specifically for men.
What?
I keep having to remind myself that it’s the lionesses that do the hunting and killing and get their faces soaked in blood I mean is there a more badass animal
the king of the jungle
in the second it’s like ‘maybe if I look away she’ll stop yelling at me’
I TOLD YO BITCH ASS TO PICK UP THE CUBS
Its the alpha
Fun fact: When Lions fight they try to look big and powerful to scare off the opponent.
When Lionesses fight, it’s to the death,
And I think that pretty much sums up the difference between males and females. One tries to big itself up, one won’t back down.

Do you have any designs for the doctor? Since your art is the best thing ever uwu
Aaah I’m sorry, I don’t know anything about Doctor Who! But by looking at the pictures I think that the Twelfth Doctor is a very good looking and very angry man.

"Oh Amy, I hear the song of your sadness." "I’m not sad." "Then why are you crying?"
Spent many, many hours livestreaming and working on this painting - my tribute and goodbye to the magnificent Amy Pond (and how she inspired the greatest painter that ever lived!) I of course purposely researched Van Gogh works such as Starry Night and Sunflowers and would like to think if Amy stayed for a portrait, Vincent painted something like this.
EDIT: This artwork (“The Song of Your Sadness”) is now officially licensed by the BBC! It’s available as a print online at the BBC Shop, as well as in a larger size from Big Chief Studios Ltd.
Interesting how we’re always hearing how shameful and irresponsible it is to be a teen mom.
But we never hear the same messages directed at teen dads.
Or even the words “teen dad”.
It’s almost like society demonizes women’s sexuality and sexual choices while absolving men of all sexual responsibility and judgement.
the 7 y/o boy who lives next door doesn’t want to go in the house to bed and i just heard his dad use the old “you live under my roof, you live by my rules” and the kid just shouted back “im not under your roof im under the sky and thats god’s roof and he wants me to play out for longer!”
i can’t stop laughing.
update: now he’s scootering down the street singing ‘we didn’t start the fire’ while his dad chases him
