My brother got engaged today!

I don’t know why I feel the need to tell you this story, but I’ve followed you for awhile, and I just feel like you’ll like this. Sorry if this is a bit rambly and you don’t care, but I just need to get it all out because I’m so excited about it! My brother’s boyfriend came to me months ago telling me he was going to propose, and asking if I was okay with it. (Vague backstory, my brother has been my guardian since I was eight- I’m 17 now- and for the longest time it was just the two of us, but Aaron is so amazing, and they’ve been together for like 5 years, so when he told me he wanted to propose to Marko I almost keeled over I was so happy). Now, he got the ring in December, and here we now are in February, and Aaron’s been carrying this fucking ring around with him since. How the man didn’t lose it I don’t know bc he didn’t even have it in a box, it was just loose in his wallet. Well, we all went to Disneyland Paris last weekend and I was SURE he was going to propose because, well, Paris, right? But no, and when we got home I was like oh man you missed your opportunity and Aaron was like no I just don’t want to be cliche. Fair enough. Anyway, today I leave work and look at my phone, I’ve got missed calls from both of them and a text off Marko that says “something happened and I cried in TKMaxx”………and a text of Aaron that says “I accidentally proposed”. So I call my brother and he’s still sobbing, but manages to tell me that he was in the fitting rooms of TKMaxx trying on bras (this is probably the time I should explain that they both do drag) and Aaron went to check to see if he had a gift card from Xmas and the ring FELL OUT THE WALLET and onto the floor of the fitting room, and that is how he proposed…..while wearing a neon pink ladies’ jumper and purple stilettos, to my brother who was wearing white pumps and a black lacy bra…in TKMaxx. They took a photo in the fitting room mirror and it’s glorious haha. And now they’re snuggled up on the sofa being all cute as I type this. I just, had to share. So yeah, sorry if this is rambling but I’m just so happy. Marko keeps just smiling at the ring and Aaron keeps grinning and kissing his cheek. Urg I’m getting gross and sappy but I just feel like this is what it must feel like to watch your parents fall in love. So much shit happens every fucking day and sometimes I feel like I’m perpetually in a state of sadness, but this happening has made me so happy. I can be a cynical brat but watching my big brother fall in love with his FIANCÉ has been a privilege. 😭❤️

honestly i’m not mad at Naomi, she’s a beautiful and talented queen. I’m just upset period. Manila didn’t deserve to go home and the show’s rules suck, because if the queens do the best for themselves and eliminate the stronger queens, the stronger queens end up not winning. It’s just fucked up. Naomi was very smart, there’s no rule book, she made the best decision for herself and she doesn’t deserve any hate bc of that. With that said, let’s be honest, we all know that at this point it’s too late for Naomi, she’s not going to win and that’s what makes this elimination worse because it feels like Manila went home for nothing. Manila was the clear winner at this point and her (unfair) elimination is not even helping Naomi get ahead of the competition so it feels totally useless and that really stings.
