A small amount of blush formed on his cheeks when he felt Eren leaning on him, but he knew it was getting late. So he just sat there and gently pats his shoulder
“Are you going to be okay Eren? Maybe you should get some sleep, you had a rough day…”
“I-I’ll try.” His eyes closed, “J-Just promise you won’t leave…” He fell into an uneasy sleep after that little exchange.
“I’ll try as well... Sleep well Eren...” He nods slightly and just sat there, trying to give him comfort as he slept

“Well either way, it has to be important if he gave the key to his son before he disappeared. When possible, you should check out what he had down there…” He pondered with his hand under his chin
“You’re right, I just hope it is useful. If it isn’t….we are back to square one.” He admitted leaning on Brandon a little, eyes drooping, it was late, but Eren didn’t want to sleep, he didn’t want the nightmares to come back.
