“There you are, sweetheart, sorry I’m late. I was looking everywhere for you,” Loki began semi-tartly, a faint smirk curling at the edges of his lips. The prince's verdant gaze flashed with amusement as he subtly studied her reaction to his sarcastic quips, their typical banter coming naturally to him. "Hope you weren't waiting long?" He sauntered up beside Astrid, overlooking the ongoing feast and festivities within Valhalla.
Astrid was leaning against a wall, observing her surroundings with a bored expression. She has never been a big fan of feasts like these. Her eyes wandered around the room. She let out a small sight. Why did she agree to attend again?
She turned her head when she heard a familiar voice and her lips quirked into a smile. She felt the tension in her body easing. "Your highness." She greeted him with a small polite bow. "Fashionable late as always I see. I was starting to get worried you wouldn't show up." She says amused and pushed herself off the wall.
