Astro wriggled a little at the buttons on his chest being fiddled with so gently. It was weird to have someone else touching them in a way that couldn’t be described as a quick jab.Though it wasn’t exactly uncomfortable…

Ah clown always being such a joker, though considering his occupation and even his name it’d be weird if he wasn’t just that. Sometimes his shenanigans could cross the line if by just a hair, but never enough to really invoke anything that couldn’t be fixed.

Oh right, that’s why he had clown come over. He pretended to think on clowns offer of guessing, looking upwards and quirking his lip in feigned thought. “I think I could name a few.” He really did take a moment to think this time, remembering some of the symbols and what they stood for. “One of them was for cuddling right? Well…” He chuckled a little shrugging towards their current position.

“you just gave me a k-kiss and told me you love me so that’s….four? Not counting the I like you one.” He chuckled again, he’s been doing that a lot lately. “Am I missing anything?”

But really how else would one react to being told that someone would have sex with them. Especially when that someone was you first relationship. And so Astro did freak out, but not in the way you'd imagine. It was less spastic and blubbery and more rigid and silent. kind of like one of the goats that just go stiff when they get scared, only with a lack of falling over. A deer in the headlights look, complete with round eyes staring in something just short of disbelief, His lips parted a small bit. The look as a whole seeming just a little unreadable.

The short seconds that passed seemed like hours before Astro finally said something breaking the silence.

"..s--same t-to you...." He mumbled, parroting the answer to the ask that started this all.

He was looking away now, head turned to the side. The change in his gaze direction did nothing to hide how red his face had become. Why beat around the bush he thought, recalling how clown seemed to respond so negatively to his "maybes" and "Probablys" last time.

After all it was the truth.

It was quite obvious that the words clown had said weren’t meant to be heard by anyone else, and knowing that they were just for him made them that much sweeter to Astro. He allowed the other to toy with his bangs, rubbing his hand in circular motions up and down clowns back. “I love you.” He mumbled dreamily, it just seemed like a good moment to say it, and gosh darnit he was going to say it every chance he got.

A moment later Astro cleared his throat, not that he had anything to clear being a robot and all “So what have you been up to.” He hummed making small talk.

“I love you too.” He said softly. It was getting easier to say it and Clown wasn’t sure if he should be pleased or concerned with himself. He shifted to kiss him on the lips before pressing his cheek into the others chest plate, closing his eyes as his back was rubbed. “I tricked Search into not charging anymore because I thought it would be funny.” A typical day for Clown, harassing and making his more gullible brothers life absolute hell. “It was pretty funny.” Out of all the days where he sat around doing nothing, looking for the chance to cause some sort of chaos, the one time that he got into Astro’s bed with him would be the same time that an opportunity to beat some schmuck would arise! Of course. If Astro knew, he’d probably be pleased as punch to know that Clown was still lying there with him instead of running off to get in a fight. “But that’s all boring…you wanted me to talk about the symbols, right?” idly he traced some of the buttons on his front with his index finger. “Did you want to guess them, or should I just say?”

Same old clownman. Astro straightened the chair he had knocked over as he stumbled towards clown, being pulled partially by the weight of clowns arms over his own shoulders.

“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t…A c-coward that is.” He said his lips quirked a bit into the tiniest smile as he came to a stop in front of the other giving the smaller bot a little forehead kiss.

The cold of the outside no longer obstructed by glass suddenly began to seep in. Astro laughed a little as he shivered just a bit, the irony of the rather human like action following clowns statement was almost silly. Christmas had come and gone, but the weather hadn’t changed!

“C-come here.” He mumbled wrapping his arms around the others middle and pulling him to fall onto the bed that lay not but two steps away. He sighed content with his position below clown arms still wrapped around the others waist. Why did he invite clown over anyway? He couldn’t even remember, or did he even have a reason in the first place. Who cares he didn’t need a reason.

He missed him! Clown didn’t even have to do anything and Astro had missed him! It made his core work a bit faster, and his smile a bit more genuine than usual. The citadel had been different from the fortress in many ways. Larger, better lit, less crowded, and yet the most fascinating and delightful part of the entire thing to Clownman was the addition of windows. Windows had always been a luxury. Something given to few robots and 060 wasn’t the first to come to mind when assigning the nicest of rooms. But in this place? It did not matter! Each bedroom was spacious with a high roof and a wide window. Windows for looking out of or, in Clowns case..glorified entrances! ”allez hop!” He cried, dropping from the roof down to the window that he was positive had belonged to Astroman. His feet out infront of him connected with the thick glass. Glass was something he had not thought through. But Clown was no wimp. It smashed under the force of his boots, breaking and sending broken glass in every direction. “Tadaa!” He announced, standing up right as the length of his arms entered after he did.

and here he had thought this time he wouldn’t be so surprised by clowns’ visit. Mostly because this time he knew the clown was coming. However it seemed that was obviously not the case, as exemplified by how far astro jumped when the clown bot entered. It took him a moment to register that the broken window was not the result of someone trying to kill him with some kind of projectile but rather hisboyfriend, having decided that conventional ways of entrance were much too boring. Gripping the top of the desk he had flung himself from to help him up in standing, Astro took a moment to look at the satisfied looking clown and then to the broken window. Rather uncharacteristically he started to laugh a little, an awkward breathless sort of thing. Glass could be replaced he thought. Unsure of what to say he went ahead and said what he normally would. “H-Hey clown…W-welcome?”

“The window wasn’t supposed to be closed…” Clown announced, looking back at what remained of the broken glass, shrugging when another chunk fell. Ungraceful! but an attention grabbing entrance and what more could a performer want? A round of applause? Maybe..but he wouldn’t push his luck. He grinned a toothy sort of grin, catching sight of Astro behind a desk. Taking cover was he? Precious. It was the cutest when he was frightened. It was by no means a normal way to think, but Clown had never claimed to be normal. He tittered a little, approaching the other with his head tossed back. “Hey.” He said, near mimicking Astro’s tone as he put his arms around his shoulders, urging him to move closer. “Don’t act so human. hiding like a coward…it’s unflattering.”

Hey Astro how is Christmas going?

At Astro's door sat a medium sized home aquarium along with a note card that said only "Merry Christmas" in printed text. It was decorated with a large green ribbon and already set up with water and one baby clown fish.

"wh--!" Was all astro could manage. This was probably the last thing he expected to see outside his door!He was grateful nonetheless and brought it into his room, placing the tank on a table. Looking into the aquarium he noticed the little swimming figure which he identified as a clown fish, and had to laugh just a little. That's just cute.

“It was stupid, I threw it away.” The look he wore said he wished he hadn’t even mentioned it as he bit his lower lip, cheeks burning. “Just someone clowning around! Not a real gift at all..aside from that I got straws.”

Astro looked a little confused, what on earth could been in that book. “Who was it from?” He asked, maybe that would clear a thing or two up. He chuckled a little at the word ‘straws’ sitting down next to the other on his own bed. “Straws? You don’t mean the generic white plastic kind you get in packs, do you?”

As Astro sat Clown pinched the bridge of his nose, tipping back his helmet just a little. “Flashman.” he muttered, shaking his head so that the bells of his hat jingled a little. “Not white straws, colourful ones, It’s okay- I mailed him ants”
