A personal piece. I imagine her as a princess or noble of a nomadic people of some sort.
A personal piece. Always been partial to Allosaurs.
Some choppy paddle boarding for the Weekly Standard.
AD: Philip Chalk
Some more great illustration from my bro.
What I love about using VR is the experience of “being there” inside my painting. This is a piece done using Oculus Quill in less than an hour but the video doesn’t give justice to the actual experience. Fun. Happy Thursday!
So cooool. VR is the best. One day it will be mine...one day.
Inktober may be long past, but I still have my list! CARNOTAURUS SASTREI, the meat-eating bull. So mean.
Inktober #10: The undoubtedly stupid Gallimimus Bullatus. What an idiot.
#inktober #inktober2017 #tinycatart
Inktober 9: Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis. BAM!!
Inktober 8: Dunkleosteus, scourge of the nautiloids! Not a dinosaur, but so cool that it made the list (thanks @weremagnus for the suggestion). 20ft long with an armoured skull and capable of exerting over 1600lbs of pressure on the blade of its “teeth”, dunkleosteus ate pretty much whatever it wanted.
Inktober #7, the most famous dinosaur of all; Velociraptor Mongoliensis. Weathering the storm.
Inktober #6 is DREADNOUGHTUS SCHRANI. Possibly the largest land animal ever to walk the earth, also likely the coolest name ever to walk the earth.
The markers got the best of me—but it’s colourful! An electric ankylosaurus for Inktober 16 (4 for me).
Compsognathus (about the size of a chicken) on the hunt! Inktober day TWO.
Oops! I was just reading up a bit on Compsognathus, and it turns out that the holotype specimen (the one they base the species on) is now thought to be a juvenile—as a larger specimen was found in France in the 1970’s. SO, compsognathus longipes—about the size of a turkey!
STYRACOSAURUS! Inktober day...3?? I found some amazing markers in an old box of drawing supplies. Their power is greater than I can wield. I must train.
Compsognathus (about the size of a chicken) on the hunt! Inktober day TWO.
Week one of my Batober Inktober!
