Wow! Saturday’s @microsoft and @smithsonianmagazine #MuseumDay #WomenMakingHistory event at the @intrepidmuseum in #NewYorkCity was pretty unforgettable! As a female aspiring astronaut, meeting #astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison was incredible! I also got to immerse myself through #mixedreality in all the things women have contributed to the U.S. space program over the decades as part of the Defying Gravity #WomenInSpace @thehololens exhibit! The women featured in the exhibit are role models to so many and they have made my #journeytomars possible. It is an honor to continue their work as a role model for todays young girls and boys. Exciting news- my ballet teacher asked me to audition for the advanced class... and I was asked to join! Amazing launch! Congrats to @nasa and partners @ulalaunch (#deltaIV rocket) @northropgrumman (third stage propulsion system for #deltaivheavy ) & ‪@AerojetRdyne ‬ (engines for #deltaheavy ) for making this historical launch of the #parkersolarprobe happen! 🚀🌞🚀 #solarprobe ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The video of the launch shown in first slide was taken by me using an #iPhone 7S - amazing that it turned out so well!
