not to kinpost on the kin blog or anything but love getting terribly cringe memories and being so eugh that you literally do not want to share them with your kin friends so you write fanfiction about those memories
giving myself the ick, lifetimes in the past edition
crazy how i remembered making fun of one of my partner’s name tho. “imagine dating a guy named horace” - me, actively dating a guy named horace

are we sure though
Maybe if we meme this hard enough he will have to make a public statement about how his name is not Jorkin Depeanus. This causing the general public to become aware of it and destroying any shred of hope he has left
I’m fighting for the right to sneeze bc-
on one hand my fox theriotype, sneezing is like ‘hey you wanna play? I wanna run around and play!
on the other hand my feline theriotype, sneezing is like, ‘ugh stop that. I’m so annoyed’
((SCREAMS))
hey how did you just explain my entire existence perfectly
If you genuinely support the usage of Tulpa, despite the obvious racism in it’s history…
You’re unsafe for POC. Especially Asians. Because you have other words to use, you just love shitting on Asians.
And it’s so painfully obvious too. Trying to be the ‘holier than thou’ syscourse blog, and be so ““accepting”” of others, it’s pathetic.
And people who don’t speak up about it, you’re equally as bad. If you sit at a table of 9 racists, then there’s 10 racists at the table.
You don’t even have to make your own post, or interact with racist people. Just uplifting our voices is enough.
I don’t care if the “pro-tulpa” voices are big blogs. It just shows how normalized racism against Asians is.
But no, let’s give racist people platforms and put them on a pedestal.
what sprul-pa’i is , and what ADN was trying to say was tulpa. (and how it relates to western “tulpamancy”)
sprul pa'i sku is a general term for "incarnation" instead of the emanation of a buddha . the term is very sacred and holds very high spiritual attainment .
tulku , which is the "tulpa" in ADN's book , is one of the bodies of buddha (nirmāṇakāya) . it is , in basic terms , incarnate lamas .
tulpa , as a word , is spelt སྤྲུལ་པ , which can also be spelt as tulku , or sprul pa . tulpa is a mistranslation .
ADN's "tulpa" , is a poor understanding of tulku . extremely poor . you can see why tulku is extremely important in buddhism , and why tulpa is a poor word to use , especially with it's bad history .
what tulku ACTUALLY is , in relation to western “tulpa”
an enlightened , or highly advanced spiritual person , is able to direct their reincarnation and help guide their followers to find their next physical embodiment .
tulpacourse is not “anti endo rhetoric”
it is an issue with racism . not the validity of parogenic/thoughtform/endos/etc . not just the word tulpa .
if speaking out against racism , and talking about the racism in the community , is anti endo rhetoric , then …….
Adding some bc I collect ugly ass kittens (affectionately)
SO, here's the scoop
Local endo that likes to send anon hate tries to incite violence over syscourse
highly questionable wording used to stay under the radar, product looks like crap on every available item

Guys, don't be fucking assholes and send this person hate, it's literally just giving them life
from Coping With Trauma Related Dissociation
[image ID: You may be puzzled by the fact that you can be triggered at one time by a stimulus, but not at another time. Your vulnerability to triggers is determined to a large degree by your physical and mental condition in the moment. If you are more tired or spacey, sick or seriously stressed, or faced with new challenges or problems that seem overwhelming, you are more likely to be triggered. If parts of you are in inner chaos and conflict, you are very prone to becoming triggered more easily. And as you work on particular aspects of your history, the triggers related to that time may be more active for a while. /end ID]
Have you read any books on DID/OSDD? If so, would you recommend any of them to people with either disorder?
Ohohoho I've read many books related to dissociation & trauma! You can find a bunch of them in this pdf drive, along with my recommendations below. Here's the books I recommend and why I think they're helpful:
Understanding & treating dissociative identity disorder: a relational approach: Want to understand wtf DID/OSDD even are, but you don't want to dive into a book with graphic trauma descriptions or scientific jargon? This book is the perfect starting place, in my opinion.
The Haunted Self: Love scientific jargon? Don't mind if you have to read through pages of graphic trauma descriptions? Want to finally understand what structural dissociation is all about and why DID/OSDD are trauma-related disorders? Read this book!
Got Parts?: This one is a tad old but it's honestly solid advice and a great starting place for anyone who is newly diagnosed or discovering their DID/OSDD.
Coping with trauma-related dissociation: Okay, so you've read Got Parts? or maybe you're a bit further along in recovery and you need something that really tackles all the deep-seated issues that come with having DID/OSDD. THIS is the self-help book to get.
