i’ve been so inactive on tumblr for the last half decade that nearly four months have passed before i thought to post this on here, but if you haven’t already heard, the legendary pressed zine rack is back! ✨
i can’t begin tell you how genuinely excited i am to be taking over something that profoundly impacted my own personal growth and sense of belonging to a community, and getting to use my position as curator to help make zines by BIPOC, queer, and neurodivergent folks more accessible in ottawa, as well as (hopefully) encourage local marginalized makers and writers
(...i spent an embarrassing amount of time browsing the world wide web trying to find a short, simple, AND affordable zine-making zine of my dreams, and it’s only $1! so, if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to dabble in DIY publishing, this is it!!)
