Ok, so the tattoo artist I have been going to for all of my tats seriously does everything in his life out of spite. He became a tattoo artist because he was told it was stupid, he got married because his friends told him not to, he bought a house with a picket fence because he was told he wasn’t the kind of guy that would do that, and he had a kid because he was told he would be a crap father. He has a nice wife, an adorable little girl, a good house, and is an award winning tattoo artist.

When you click on the foot it forces you to go stand outside and you cant even get back in the house. It was raining and my cute neighbours saw me in my underwear. I eventually got back in by climbing through the window but I was wet and slippery from being mostly naked in the rain so I slid off the counter and smacked my head off the floor. 3/10, not your worst update

I used to legitimately worry about whether I had the “right face shape” for short hair, until one day it dawned on me that short hair is compulsory for all men here in the US and nobody gives a shit whether they have the “right face shape” for it. And I’ve never heard any beauty advice implying that there is a “wrong face shape” for long hair on women either. 
Despite the artistry that does goes into the beauty industry, it exists first and foremost to enforce societal standards, and fuck that noise ok, the face shape bullshit is clearly dishonest and biased at best and a total myth at worst. Cut your hair any way you damn well want to and if it doesn’t look good it’s because you have a shitty ass barber ok not because you weren’t the right shape for it }:/
