Never forget who was there before it became popular to raid there âď¸
a small thing i learned from my sister dying is that i really would rather the people i love be a burden than be whatever the hell else they'd be if they weren't. yes even if it's messy and not always fair and hard completely inconvenient for everyone involved. even if it's weird. even if i'm rolling my eyes a bit inside sometimes. i just want you to bother me. please always bother me
like "it's rotten work" "not to me not if it's you" actually sometimes it's still rotten work. even if it's you. and i'd still do it a million times over
dropping this here too in case you dont check your ao3 notifications:
i suppose its about time i write a comment about it, seeing as youre the one who started my obsession. when i first decided to read all chips in on a whim in november of last year i didnt think much of it, but im dead serious when i say this fic changed my life. it resulted in me being swept up in thinking about these two for months to come, drawing and writing about them nearly every day, and ive ended up meeting some of my closest friends through it. the way you write chip and high roller is incredibly compelling and really convinced me of how interesting a relationship between them could be. five chapters were more than enough to sway me and ive read them over and over again, still finding new lines to think on. of course, id be lying if i said i didnt wish it continued, but im just as fond of the ending as it is now. anyone who knows me is aware of how doomed i think those two are lol and now its been over half a year and im still obsessed with them, so i figured i should return and leave a comment. thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing all chips in. genuinely my life would not be the same if you hadnt sincerely, @chiproller-yuri
Im so entirely floored by ur message. Thank you so so much for sharing, because this is also a huge impact for me, hearing this. Im so humbled that you feel this way about my writing. I feel like that fic is one of my greatest creations and I think about chiproller often for the story they gave me.
Seriously thank you for taking the time and energy to tell me this. It's made my year. And you already know I love your blog haha

Divorce
yay hi
When I was training to be a battered womenâs advocate, my supervisor said something that really blew my mind:
âYou can always assume one thing about your clients; and that is that they are doing their best. Always assume everyone is doing their best. And if theyâre having a day where their best just isnât that great, or their best doesnât look like your best, you have to be okay with that.â
Any now whenever anyone in my life, either a friend or a client, frustrates me, disappoints me, or pisses me off, I just tell myself They are doing their best. Their best isnât that great today, but I have days where my best isnât that great either.Â
Op Iâd like to thank you for sharing this. Ever since the first time Iâve read it Iâve held it in my mind and it really has helped me to be kinder to others and to myself.
As a survivor of sa that took a perpetrator to trial and has struggled with debilitating embarrassment/guilt/shame ever since even with constant therapy, this means a lot. Thank you
Knowing that trans women of color started the movement in the united states and were literally immediately erased and excluded from what they started is the most deeply jading knowledge.
It is the original sin of the so-called queer community and it damns it from the cradle.
no white gay boy will ever reblog this, watch:
no white gay will reblog this
no white lgb person will reblog this
Without Stonewall, without the efforts of Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, the LGBTQ Community wouldnât be where it is today. Donât forget the roots, donât forget the catalyst.
and then TERFs wanna be like, âhmm well the LGBT community existed before Stonewall!â
but likeâŚBecky, of course LGBTQ+ people existed before Stonewall. Weâve all existed since the beginning of time. But the movement got a shock to its senses, a jump-start, a rocket-into-space when that glass shattered via Marsha P. Johnson, and when Sylvia Rivera was up on-stage protesting guess who was on the sidelines heckling her?
The same fuckers who wonât ever reblog or acknowledge this
My apologies to the original poster as I photo captured this post to add to the thread-I reposted this last year for pride and expect to repost it every year I have left-itâs our history people.
Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the âshe was murderedâ vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.
Without a trans black woman, LGBT+ rights would not exist. Never forget. Never âpay it no mindâ.
R E M E M B E R
And whatever you do, donât watch that awful movie Stonewall. Go watch a documentary on Marsha P. Johnson instead.
thereâs a wonderful documentary on netflix called the death and life of marsha p. johnson! very powerful watch.
every white person ever should reblog this
