sigh I haven’t seen the ep yet since I’m waiting for JP dub but I saw spoilers and Lucas does leave for the world tree then? 😕 Ik no one knows yet but do you personally think it’s gonna be for long again because I can’t go through the wait again, it was excruciating back then in the manhwa… I hope they don’t drag it too much. Though I’m so confused with the story now because why is the amnesia after the part in the plot where athy wakes her dad up. Shouldn’t that part have been after the amnesia, what did they do with the story lol
Sorry guys, if you expect me to complain about the donghua, you've come to the wrong place. They've been pretty transparent about the story not being a 1:1 to the manhwa's (which is already absolutely different from the original story), so if you were still expecting otherwise, that's on you.
I assure you that Lucas won't be away for too long, he is the production's darling, though I imagine he'll be gone for a handful of episodes, otherwise his absence would be meaningless. The donghua won't have the glacial pace that the manhwa did, they don't have enough screen time to afford multiple "nothing happens" chapters.
The story will most likely go: amnesia arc, "oh wow why is Claude feeling better when Jennette is around", "aw but he is warming up to Athy", Lucas comes back with a solution, Jennette gets closer to Anastasius, they beat Anastasius and Roger up, happy end yay everyone is so happy yippee.
Hopefully with new material in between all that, because season 2 of the manhwa is easily its weakest one. In fact, I hope it's very different, that would be welcome, as the donghua has been incorporating original scenes and also novel scenes neglected by the manhwa.
