12 july~ currently reading “The Difficulty of Being Good” by Gurcharan Das. had a bit of a slow start since it makes references to indian mythology and concepts such as dharma (safe to say i was very confused hehe) but i stuck to it and 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking into south asian academia/philosophy!

051720 - 12(?)/30 days of productivity

Sooo I haven’t posted yesterday because we had to travel north where we’ll stay for a few weeks (we followed safety measures). I guess the only productive thing I did yesterday was to help clean up the house before we left. Now that we’re settled, I’m back to studying!

slowly falling into a productive routine and making lots of progress in contracts. i try to get even the smallest amount of work done each day, even when i feel demotivated or sad. sometimes the process isnt always pretty, aesthetic, or particularly inspired, and often it feels futile. cups of coffee and slices of apple cake i baked help. the thought that small progress is still progress helps. i know im doing much better than i did when i first started law school, and thats what matters.

This morning I woke up early, had a coffee and studied Chinese. I’ve finished my second notebook and started a new one, a plain ruled A4, the perfect size to write down the dialogues and few grammar notes below. I’ve added a small notebook for new words also, i feel so productive today!
