For everyone who wants to know where AJ used AI to promote his film:
This was from his film making account, Lofi_film25, where the post was promoting his new film but marked as AI.
Now, I understand that it states "content in this post may have been created using AI" but i was skeptical. AJ has supposedly supported AI before, so I didn't want to just trust this little "thing" on Instagram. So, I put it to the test.
This is the original image I took from his post, only I used a "divide" feature on ibisPaint X, the whole process a hard to explain but if you search it up, you'll understand how it works. Anywho, long story short, those pixels you can see scattered around the entire image is proof that this was AI generated. You see, when AI generates an image, it colours pixel by pixel, and by throwing a few filters on, you can see each pixel (for some AI generated content, it can be/look differently). That little static-y, weird bits in the dark areas are the pixels.
And, y'know, for the fun of it, I ran it through multiple AI image detectors, which all stated that this photo was AI generated (websites can be found by just searching up "AI checker free image").
And for some extra proof that these AI websites are legit, I ran through the same screenshot I took of me winning sudoku through it and they all said it was not AI generated. Example here:
Now, I understand the concerns of people who think I'm doing/saying this with malicious intent, or if I was just really mad (which to be honest, I still am). But I'm now doing this to spread awareness. This post made me realise that not a lot of people were ever even aware that AJ ever used and supported the use of AI, and were just as disappointed as me in discovering that I did (which i am glad for 1. Making people aware and 2. For people being disappointed). Furthermore, the ask I had sent in myself was messy, to say the least. It was sent to ask the fandom to stop ignoring his AI usage and for me to just lightly vent about I was upset about this whole thing (which, again, I am aware most people did not even know about this so I apologise). So, I guess that ask and this reblog is now more about spreading awareness. You can love AJ all you want, but he does use AI and (on a much lesser and less threatening note I suppose) I will block you, and i would hope others do the same for any other AI bootlickers.
