The sketch took 2 hours because I suck at proportions, while the painting took 5 hours. Maybe I can touch it up once it finishes drying, but I really enjoyed painting this.

It is raining outside, but not pouring. I have the windows open, and classes are done for the day. I make a cup of Earl Grey, read a book, and listen to the rain fall on the sidewalk.

Autumn is my favorite season, so I have any things to love about it:

– How the weather gets slightly chilly, enough for long, beautiful trench coats

–Black Friday Nostalgia: The sleepless days spent many years ago lining up in stores for the next biggest deal

Stop putting pressure on fanfiction writers to finish their fics.

We live in times of troubles and grief – I personally lost 5 family members and friends in the past 17 months, couldn’t attend most of their funerals because I live in another city, and as a result haven’t written a word since May 2020.

A very quick glance around will tell you my situation is the rule, not the exception.

I don’t care how much you enjoy the story and wish to see it finished, or that the writer promised in author’s note to see the story to its end. I don’t care how much the story helps you get through your own grief and struggles. Harassing writers is horrendous behaviour and is more likely to drive them out of their fandom than to get them to come back.

If you like an author’s work, you will respect them and be patient while they process their own situation, even if it takes more time than you wished.

Some Goodnotes notes from today’s lecture on Buddhism. I’m still torn between what form of notes to use, and if I need to stick to one mode for all of my classes.

Forgive me if this isn’t the correct use of the Cornell note-taking style.

Chapter 2 of Chemistry.

First ever study-related post to celebrate the new school year.

I’m still experimenting between taking handwritten or iPad notes, but I wanted to keep it simple for textbook notes. I’ve been guilty in the past for focusing heavily on aesthetics, so I wanted to just do basic color coding. Black is for main notes, dark blue for titles/subtitles, sky blue for examples/interesting information, and green for memorization.

Any constructive criticism for my posts is greatly appreciated. Apologies for the lighting.
