“ who benefits from your madness ? ”
Benji teased as he offered the other a drink. They had quite an interesting story to tell today and Benjamin was listening to every word. It had been a rather peaceful workday, just the way Benjamin liked it even though busier times were better for buisness. Sometimes it was nice just having a couple of regulars turn up and catch up with whatever they were dealing with life.

Eddie was honestly so ready to go home and celebrate the last few hours of his birthday with his fiance, but he had to finish a few things first. Luckily, Blaze brought him over some cake, which made the day a little more likable. Not like it wasn’t already, of course. He’d received an abundance of presents from his coworkers, and was even made to wear one of those dumb little birthday hats (that he still got excited over despite being in his 40′s). All he had to do now was punch in some things into the computer, stamp and scan about twenty books, lock up, and then he was free until Monday.
He’d almost finished when he heard that familiar bell chime, making him chew and swallow the mouthful of cake (and of course almost choke on it like an idiot). “Hey! I’m sorry, we’re closed in…” He checked the time, moving to wipe the cake from his mouth with his free hand. “Ten minutes…. Is there anything I can do?” He smiled, despite his teeth being a bright pink and purple color.

“Okay, what are your plans for today?” Korra asked the other looking at them with a bright smile. This was the first proper day off in a month where she didn’t have to work in either the office or the bar and although the brunette felt as if she hadn’t slept in weeks she was too happy to have it off. “Now is your turn to say you have no plans and are willing to spend your whole entire day with me” Korra said checking out the bags under her eyes with her phone camera. She then turned to her friend and gave them a smirk.

Fiona was on her way to the store when a gush of wind blew the grocery list out of her pocket. “Shoot!” She yelled before sighing deeply. I should have just typed it out on my phone, she said with a deep groan. Ever since her parents allowed her selfish wish of being more independant, Fiona began to realize how much of a struggle certain every day things tend to be. She was unsure if she should just ask her mom, or ask a friend. Not that she had many. Truly if only her parents hadn’t been this overprotective! She heard someone laughing near her and asked. “Excuse me, can I ask for your help?”

Minnie had just received one of her brand new assignments after fighting with her MacBook to upload the previous one to the portal, she had passed with flying colours and her professor was more then happy with her when it came down to the nitty gritty. But now that was behind her she had received her next batch and one part of that was taking to the streets to find out from strangers and friends alike some things about the fashion industry and trends through a survey type situation.Though she actually needed to talk to people in order for that to happen and with people so busy in their every day to day lives it was actually difficult to try and get their attention;
“Hey there! Do you mind if I steal a couple minutes of your time?” pausing to let them speak and accept before continuing; “I have a assignment I need to do and it definitely involves a little bit of help from you. Are you down for it today? I just have a couple of questions about fashion and fashion trends and what not” looking down and securing the sheet and clip board she was holding spotting a few of her class mates in the distance doing something similar if not the same thing; “Great! Okay so your first question is-… how do you feel about the fashion industry as a whole? Do you find it to be a great contribution to society?”

“Goodness,” Xenia muttered as she stretched out on the grass and closed her eyes. The wedding was fun, and she was a bit tired, so she went to the park, to stretch out, catch some sun, and also just relax. “Now this…even though it isn’t the beach, this is the life.” she said with a small smile, closing her eyes as she started to dose off. It didn’t take her long to go to sleep, but she did open one eye when the sunlight disappeared. “Oy…” she groaned, open one eye. “My sunlight…unless you have something to eat or drink, then I’ll get up.” @atlanta-rpgstarters
“Shit, that was a nasty fall. You alright?” Amara asked as she ran up to the stranger to check on him. When the guy cursed him out and told her he was fine, she rolled her eyes, fixed her leather jacket and walked off in a huff. “Well, fuck him too then.” She mumbled before going back to the other [YOUR MUSE]. “That guy was so rude. I don’t know why I offer to help people. They always so damn rude, you know?Like, what’s the fuckin’ point.”
Today had started normally enough but it had quickly turned sour and she’d spent the last few hours moping in her apartment, snuggling her cat and overall just feeling sorry for herself. She needed to get out, go somewhere and stop before her behavior turned into self sabotage. She walked through the park, fresh air always helped her feel better, always helped clear her head. The heat set in quick, needing something to drink and she did not want to drink from the fountain so she moved to one of the side carts selling food and ordered a bottle of water. She grabbed the water, attempting to put her change in her wallet when it got away from her and scattered across the ground, normally it wouldn’t have been a big deal but right now it felt like everything was going wrong and she cursed to herself, bending down to quickly scoop up the coins. As she stood her head bumped straight into someone and she let out a groan, again something that wouldn’t have necessarily been a huge deal but the timing was awful. “I’m… I’m sorry” she said quickly attempting to keep her emotions in check, knowing how embarrassing it would be to cry just because she bumped into someone.

He had to find her, of course. After hearing some of the things she had to go through once his mother had taken her from him, he was angry but most importantly, he just needed to see his baby girl. “Um, hey. Have you seen this girl?” He asked the other as he showed them a picture of Mackenzie that he had on his phone.
“If I said that I’m finally ready to just…date,” Alexis said, her fingers twisting over the napkin. She waited for she didn’t know how long, but it was time. Yes she liked her one-night stands and casual dates, but to actually date and maybe fall in love? Marco knew that he technically was meant to be dead, but being in Atlanta did feel kind of like he was home again. The three men that were hired by his mother to get rid of him, luckily all were no longer his concern and he didn’t think no one wanted to murder him, at least not yet. However, he was still being careful, trying to find his daughter without asking too many questions and seeing strange. “You wouldn’t happen to know a blonde girl, about this high and very pale?” Marco asked the person that he had seen. He had been told Mackenzie frequented this coffee shop a lot and he really would like to find her before someone else found out he was in town first. “I have a picture, actually.” He said after a few minutes, showing the picture of her in his wallet that he had found online a few days ago.
Mackenzie had one hell of a few months honestly. The attack, dropping out of college and now things seemed to be going back on track for her. She hand an interview for the Police Academy, she was dating the finest paramedic in Atlanta and she was finally starting to feel happy, like she could move on.However, there was one issue with her recovery, the girl was ignoring it. She wasn’t coming to terms with what happened because she had buried it deep, deep down and she was spending more and more time with Danny, getting drunk and pretending that she was fine. So, Mackenzie was leaving her interview for the police academy, she walked towards her car before turning around and freezing, thinking she saw a man that she sure didn’t think she would ever see again. She wasn’t sure if it was a figment of her imagination or if she truly saw him but it was enough to cause her to freak out and the young girl hit the ground, fainting right on the spot. When she woke up, she was still on the ground luckily but she could feel someone near her and she got defense quickly. “You can fuck off now.” The girl mumbled to the person, not bothering to look up and see who it was. “I’m fine, just got a little lightheaded.”

When Blaze announced his engagement to his friends, they threw him a small, little party and the man thought it was the sweetest thing in the world . He was happy and content with his life at the moment and that was a first. Not that he wasn’t completely happy, he had a daughter and Raine was his life but he had always felt like he was missing something and that was Eddie. Not only was he an amazing father but he also was always there for him and even his family when they needed him. Danny loved him and so did Woody, so he felt like he had made a right choice. He heard his name as he stuffed his face with a hotdog and turned around, the dog hanging out of his mouth a bit. “Mmmshighdh.” He mumbled before holdiing up a one minute finger and chewing the hotdog and swallowing it. “Sorry, what’s up?” He asked.

Since the wedding Lu had kept herself in a slight haze, not wanting to deal with anything except for making it through her shifts at work and going home. She’d tried to cover the obvious bags under her eyes with makeup as best she could, and kept her sweater on, despite the high temperatures both behind the espresso bar and outside, to cover the obvious marks that marred her arms now. Walking out from the backroom she slipped her earbuds in her ear and hit play on her music for her walk home. Scrolling through her emails as she kept her head down until she walked directly into someone, sending her stumbling back and her phone clattering out of her hand to the ground, ripping the earbuds out on it’s way down. “Shit, sorry” she murmured, as she bent to pick up her phone with a groan, looking at it’s shattered screen before sighing then glancing the person she had collided into. “I should’ve been paying attention, you okay?”
