Ok ok ok so their name is just my pen name (Atlas Starr) cuz they high-key started out as a self insert, but then I gave em like a whole ass personality sooo-

Anyway rapid fire important facts:

-AFAB nonbinary human

-17 years old

-parents are alive but like who tf knows what they’re up to.

-lives in a very shitty Park Row (aka crime alley) apartment that costs $50 a month due to the fact spontaneous combustion is more likely than you think.

-works the Gotham public library afternoon shift, and the Park Row bat burger morning shift

-favorite thing to complain about is the fact that for some reason red hood really likes to have arguments on their fire escape while they are trying to sleep.

-doing online school

-has a girlfriend who lives in metropolis

-lowk has a crush (that they will never do anything about) on her boss at the library (Barbra Gordon)

-is lowk so done with everything Gotham related, but refuses to move. (cuz where else are you gonna find an apartment for $50 a month??)

-favorite vigilante is red hood cuz of everything he’s done for the Ally, but “the Robin with the Bo staff” is a close second cuz he has never had an argument on their fire escape.

-used to have a car, however bane happened and they no longer have a car.

-will complain about crime alley until someone who doesn’t live there starts agreeing with them, then they will defend that place to no end

-always has a pocket knife/multi tool w a knife, a gas mask, a lighter, and a flask of alcohol on their person (yes they are underage, but no one cares cuz it’s fuckin Gotham.)

-has some pretty nasty scarring on left arm from that one time a cult tried to sacrifice them, and a very feint scar from when they were being used as a hostage and there was a knife pressed to their throat.

-is lowk a bit of a conspiracy theorist (like saying “no no no I promise you bruce wane is Batman’s sugar daddy.” While being dead serious type conspiracy theorist)

Basic Fandom Etiquette Everyone Needs to Remember:

Creators do not owe anyone content. Do not ask writers when they will update.

If an author did not ask for [negative] criticism , do not give criticism.

Read the tags carefully before reading a fanfic.

If you ignored the tags and were upset, that is your responsibility, not the creator’s.

Disliking a ship does NOT give you the right to attack people who enjoy it.

Do not tell authors or shippers that their ship is “disgusting,” “wrong,” or “shouldn’t exist.” Shipping fictional characters is not a moral failing.

No one is obligated to justify why they ship two fictional characters.

Headcanons are PERSONAL interpretations, not universal truth.

Dark themes in fiction do not equal real life beliefs or intentions.

Leaving kudos or short positive comments genuinely matters.

Not every fanwork is made for you, and that is okay.

Scrolling past content you dislike is better than engaging negatively

Enjoying a fandom later than others does not make someone less of a fan.

Disliking a fanfic does not entitle you to announce that to its creator. Sending hate comments to authors is NEVER justified, even if you disliked the work.

I’m reading this fic that’s like 400k words and it’s a slow burn with major character death. I’m currently just about 1/3 of the way through and no major characters have died yet and the main couple is a little too happy, so I know I’m about to get absolutely emotionally destroyed.
