Hey guess what I just spent the past hour or more doing! Going through the transcripts and listening to the end of every single episode (up to 56) for the "click + static" and making a list of when there is click + static and when there isn't! It's neat.
In bold are the ones with no static or click or with weird static or clicks. I did go and check ones that said "click + static in transcript" as well to confirm they were there.
Season 1
Click + static
And you call it madness plays suddenly before car crash and again afterwards. Static before click.
Click + static
Stabbing, Wraith noises (sounds almost like the otherworldly woosh noise later for Kayne + The Manager), Deep distorted voice “This Too Shall Pass”, click + static
Click + static
Click + static (arthur singing and you call it madness to pass the time)
Click + static
No click, Big Divorce #1, right before episode ends Arthur’s arrested
Died mid-late episode, static noises following leading into Wraith rescue. No static or click at the end.

Season 4
Prelude: following the butcher, no click or static

Click + static
“Static and click” in the transcript for the first time! Scratch says “sweet dreams”, audio distortion, Click (radio turning on) “I’ll see you in my dreams” plays and then static. Click. Listening to it - There’s the click noise, “I’ll See You in my Dreams,” mixing with static, then the Click again.
Click + static
Static in the transcript. Butcher’s shotgun clicks and then static. Transitioning from Arthur pov to Butcher pov

I. Click + static. II. “An otherworldly woosh, followed by an electric crackle, followed by static” in transcript. Listening: yep, no click. Electric crackle right into static
Season 5
Intermezzo: Click + static in transcript

Arthur dies (goes to the Waylay) and is revived. “Arthur inhales sharply and screams. A sharp cut, followed by ‘Come Easy Go Easy Love’ by Hoagy Carmichael. It gradually fades under static.” in transcript. Listening Yeah screams sharply cut into the song, fades into static. No click.

“A final click” in transcript. Listening, that is very much just regular click + static.

Arthur dies. No click or static. Merely dripping of blood.
Season 6
Da Capo: “A snap and an otherworldly whoosh.” It’s similar to Kayne’s electric crackle.

Arthur dies/ is gone. No click or static.
Data points in sum:
Season 1: 2 (car crash, radio plays goes to static then clicks off) 8 (Big Divorce #1, Arthur arrested), 9 (Arthur dies -static- then revived mid episode)
Season 2: None
Season 3: 23 (John returned, Arthur hit on head and ringing noise fades out)
Season 4: Prelude (Butcher pov), 31 (Scratch uses abilities; radio clicks to song, then clicks off), 33 (shotgun + static, going from Arthur pov to Butcher pov), 40 (electric crackle + static as Kayne portals them away)
Season 5: 43 (Arthur dies, goes to Waylay, is revived; Arthur’s screaming cut off with song which fades into static), 52 (Arthur dies; blood dripping)
Season 6: Da Capo (going from Waylay to Dark World), 56 (Arthur dies, sound fades out, Butcher “that there’s a dead man,” nothing)

Out of the 12 no/ weird click + static:
An episode where Arthur dies/is dead: 5 or 6 (9, 43, 52, Da Capo, 56; Part 2 is a question of if he does or not) (we can look at 23 if we want but then I think we have to look at 17 and 28 for similar reasons and they have click + static.)
Kayne does something during the episode: 3 (23, 40, 52) (NOTE: regular click + static during 28, Coda, and Intermezzo)
Lillith does something: 1 (31) (NOTE: normal click + static for 51, but there's an audio distortion first then click + static.)
Point of view shifts: 4 (Prelude - Butcher; neither noise, 33 - Butcher; static, 43 - Witch then John; static, 56 - alternating between Arthur, John, and Butcher; neither) (NOTE: 28 and 34 are two other pov shift episodes and they both have click and static)
The Manager did something (confirmed): 3 (43, 52, Da Capo)
The Manager did something (confirmed + implied): at least 6 (2, 9, 31, 43, 52, Da Capo,) but... what if I said maybe 12.
I think an extrapolation that the click + static doesn't happen or is messed with when one of the Nyarlethoteps does something towards the end of an episode could be fair. Part 33 does trip up that hypothesis a bit, but the something that The Manager does there could be deciding to listen to The Butcher for the next bit, but then there's regular click + static in 34, so ?? Part 8 is another issue with that theory, but that could be no click + static because he didn't want to turn off his radio drama. I say "one of the nyarlethoteps does something" because of part 40 II and part 23. Part 23 - John's returned by Kayne. As well, we don't have a click but instead hear Arthur's head ringing as he falls. Perhaps the Manager did something? Part 40 II we have Kayne's electric crackle instead of a click, followed by static.
I definitely think there's a relationship between the No click + static or weird click + static and The Manager. Do I have concrete evidence for that? ...no. Unless you count him turning the radio dial in Da Capo. But not really.
In conclusion, I like to data collect and this was fun.
