some of you think ‘nuanced’ only means ‘morally grey’ and I’m here to tell you that actually straight up good characters can still be nuanced and unapologetically evil characters can still be nuanced. the character doesn’t have to be an anti hero or morally dubious to have depth. they don’t even have to feel sorry about their crimes to have depth.

Saw a gay camp ban trans men because they wanna make a safe space for men with the same lived experience as all of them… the place is in Texas and is called Bear something and clearly is meant to call to the bear side of the gay community. Does that mean twinks and otters are banned too? Are all the bears who didn’t grow up fat allowed in? Or only the ones that got daft once they were older allowed? Or are they segregated based on weight? Would a 270 pound bear be allowed to swim with the 300 pound ones? Or is there different lived experiences too much for them to handle?
How about instead of banning the most vulnerable of us, we make an actual community? And not just a vacuum chamber that will be opened and thrown out once the weakest of us aren’t trans people but run of the mill gay people.
I understand that the reason they do this is to try and save themselves but it’s futile. They must see it right?
Okay; I’m starting a brand new TTRPG system, a brand new campaign. All about super hero’s.
Imma use Mutants and Masterminds as the system, and homebrew the lore and everything else. I will be documenting this project. Hopefully I have follow through and it doesn’t die off.

An FPS RPG based on Necromunda where you get to pick the faction you play as and progress through a cyberpunk esque story where there is no happy ending period. High emphasis on explosive and quick fun fights, companions could be from other factions if you wanted to, maybe not as HARDCORE of an RPG as other games… I’m thinking more of a fallout new Vegas than anything else…. Idk that be pretty fun.
