✿ She brought her legs up and sat criss cross on the couch,    clutching her ankles together. She hummed in thought for    a moment, reflecting on her own day as she flapped her    knees all fidgety. Then she shrugged casually and grinned    bright and bubbly as always. ✿

❝ Well, the cats at the veterinary lab were totally bratty today    and were like, hellbent on making a mess. So of course I    had to clean up after them. Oh! And this morning, a totally    cute guy gave me a free smoothie at the Groovy Smoothie! ❞

{ Despite comprehending the animated film reference, she    cannot truthfully claim to completely fathom why it is that    someone would purposefully contemplate celebrating    each inevitably passing day for that reason alone. Surely     it would prove to be capable of accomplishing n o t h i n g     more than diminishing the value of the special element     that naturally comes along with the typically joyous arrival    of an actual birthday. Regardless, that is not what is meant    by her received words regarding each day being u n i q u e. }

✿ Alex blinked her eyes owlishly. She was such a child at heart,     with her interests and way of speaking, that one would be     exceedingly surprised to find her as a veterinary major with high     marks on most of her grades. The notion of obscure holidays and     trends caught her interest and her bright bubbly smile briefly     shifted to an O of amazement before regaining its beaming smile     shape. ✿

❝ Be Late To Something Day? Ooo~! That sounds so cool! Wow,     your prof sounds like, totally trendy! ❞

{ True, there is one final member who rightfully calls the    considerably picturesque dorm home, but the erudite    student is scheduled to be elsewhere at the moment -    according to the wholly comprehensible message that   had been scrawled across a lone sheet of printer paper   earlier on. With a noticeable smile taking presence on   her recognizable face, the upbeat shopaholic leisurely   enters the main room and permits little to no time to be   wasted in unwinding herself on o n e of the two identical   couches. Upon almost instantly descrying her athletic   friend, a rhetorical inquiry slides right off of her tongue. }

  ✿ According to the note taped to the door earlier, Sammy was  going to be out 'cramming' for a big exam. One that this sporty  gal knew wasn't going down for another 2 months. But it was   Sammy so go figure, right? Alex just shrugged it off and smiled   at her other bestie with her usual exuberance. At her question   though her lips puckered out in a thoughtful pout and she tapped   her chin in thought before smiling even brighter. ✿
