How broken we can feel sometimes, balancing the scales of knowing what it is we’re sacrificing for the betterment of the future. Balanced with a yearning for going back into the shell and not worrying about anyone else.
Life is so simple yet complex, endless curiosity with limited time. How detrimental or advantageous our decisions today can play a part as soon as tomorrow.
Exploring our own little rabbit holes of life.
It’s interesting to begin uncovering things about yourself by way of discovery in hidden or blinded truths about others.
I’m finding that the more we discover about ourselves the more we grow not just as a person, but collectively in our broadening perspectives about others and the world.
Darkness
Through the smiles, positivity, and encouragement towards others. Majority of life felt like an obligation to raise others up while ignoring what existed within.
It’s funny how life happens. One day the mask you’ve always worn begins to feels permanent, the next day it’s ripped off and you have no idea who you actually are.
That fear was the unknowing of acceptance or rejection of others, the mask made it easier. I’m finding the more I work to understand myself, the more inclined I am to not put back on the mask.
Instead, I’m figuring out the power of the mask and slowly transitioning that towards a more balanced, authentic self. Freaky stuff.
It’s been a while
The clock’s continued to turn and my has time kept us moving hasn’t it?
Not much to share, it’s been a ride to say the least.
If I had to share one thing, it’s that Jesus lives.

When it comes to the truth, sometimes it hurts. But you wanna know what hurts even more? When you decide to ignore its path, but try to include it in your own path.
Untouched
I wish I could've talked too him a little bit more while I was home. Spoke the words that drilled my mind, but hesitated with the decision it was too soon. Words left unspoken meant only for his ears. And now instead of being by his side, I'm stuck in a time warp, day in an day out of work. Not knowing what would've came had I said what I'd wanted, the first time I came home. Love you uncle
