There's a leak in the house...
So around 5:30 pm my Dad comes out of his room and asks me to come into the bathroom and see if i hear what he's hearing. My mom is gone and my Uncle Aiden and his girlfriend Maricella are here visiting quick. I walk with him into the bathroom and we hear a leak coming from somewhere around the bathtub area. So it sounds like the water is hitting the inside or underneath of the tub.
My Dad goes all mechanic/plummer/super Dad and starts pulling out drawers and cabinets to get closer to the leak to see where it's coming from and try and fix it. Next he realizes he could get closer to it by taking out the entire oven. The oven is in the back right corner of the kitchen next to the right side of the house and a door to our backyard. After examining the oven, looking for any screws, my Dad and Mom realized that there were none so my Dad just pulls it out of the wall basically. With Aiden's help.
So now the oven is in the middle of the kitchen. So he is looking through this hole in the wall and he sees that it is under the tub pretty much but the valve right there doesn't turn it off. Then my Dad has to get under the stairs where the main valve is so that he can just shut that off instead. So that entails pulling the couch out into the middle of the living room and pulling open the book shelf door under the stairs where the boiler and other plumbing utilities are present. Once the valve is off there's no leak anymore, but also no running water.
So now its 7:30 and my Dad is pounding away at the walls, pipes, whatever else to try and fix it or get in closer to the leak so that he can fix it. He also says he has to run to Home Depot to get whatever else he may need. But I don't quite know if or when he is going.
Hopefully this can be fixed fairly quickly. Everything bad happens in the winter. It's freezing, everyone is miserable, things break, people get hurt and the whole time it's just sad. I am so ready for this winter to be over. I can't take the cold and all the blows anymore. I'm ready for the warmth of the sun. The smell of the trees and flowers. Just all of the positive warmth that comes from the start of Spring. It's like a cleanse and starting over and I'm so ready for that.
And baseball, I am always ready for baseball to be back.
Anyone ever play Catchphrase?
The hot-potato type guessing game... I've been playing with my family for like 2 weeks now and it's so awesome. It's hilarious and never fails to make us crack up.
We're about to play it as a drinking game. As many times as you press next in one turn is the number of seconds you have to chug for afterwards. Also have to take a very large swig if your team loses that round.
This should be fun
I think I'm finally gonna do that shower thing...
I bet next to no one see's this
This is just boredom and a posting because I haven't been on here in a while...
I'm not even too sure what to write about. At present, I am laying down in my bed with Law & Order:SVU on. Love that show. I should go take a shower, but I don't really feel like getting up. My stomach hurts now too.
Can blogs be mostly written articles? It's odd, I don't really know what I want out of a blog. I always tell myself I want to write my own book or blog but I don't even know what I'd write about.
Sometimes things get crazy at out house, that's always a story. I could write about me, tell tales of how my day went or things I've done, make things up completely and tell stories of grand tales. Who knows? I guess I'll just start from here and see where I want to go with this :) Anyone is welcome to read, or join in so long as it's mostly positive. I can handle constructive criticism of course but negativity in a crude or hurtful way is just not necessary. To anyone, not just me of course.
Well SVU is pretty intense now, although I've kind of been in and out so I'm not too sure what's really going on in this episode...oops.
This morning my sisters and I all made new aim accounts and we've been IMing all day. Then I got back on the Tumblr flow and now we've decided to download voxer and walkie talkie each other. Because it's easier and funnier to talk that way sometimes. Now we're *talkin'* and making code names for each other. This is why I love us. It's so stupid but we're loving it.
Just got a phone call from someone in Virginia? I live in New York so I don't know who would be calling me from there. I chose not to answer.
I think this I where I'll leave this for now. When something comes to me next, I'll be back. Till then, adios mi nueva amigos! :)
(That may be wrong, I was never the best at Spanish)

To clear up some misconceptions, here is a list of things publicly reported about the movie adaptation of my novel The Fault in Our Stars:
1. The movie will start shooting in late August in and around Pittsburgh, PA. (Why not Indianapolis? Tax incentives. I’m sure they’ll make Pittsburgh...
