A Prayer for Mental Hygiene

Dear God, I pray for peace of my mind. I pray for a cleansed mind. Help me to eliminate bad thoughts, voices of uncertainty and fear. Allow my mind to experience a freedom it never has before. I pray to be free from anxiety and all things. The enemy targets my mind for he knows he will never have my heart. Release me from chains of worrying thoughts. Heal my addiction of overthinking and over analysing. Release my critical mind and allow me to enjoy present moments. Teach me how to guard my thoughts and protect and filter what is unclean. Teach me to be deliberate about good thoughts even when bad ones try to overwhelm me. Help me to control what I dwell on. And if a time comes for me to dwell may it be on you.
