Wait a moment- just a second. The phantom takes a quick pause giving an even more menacing look towards the other.
"Are you somehow insinuating that I am not strong Micheal?" he says with a cocky tone. As far as Hideaki was concerned he was the strongest guy to ever walk this pitiful earth. And here he has this blue-haired fellow telling him otherwise, that these chains were there of his own accord.
He rests his head against bar, the chains rattling with his movement, taking a deep sigh he nods, not even wanting to bother with the other’s question. More metaphorical nonsense he didn’t care for.
" Fine. Go ahead. Explain this Fortune Fusion nonsense to me…"
“Really, its very simple. And no, I’m insinuating nothing. But when he opens it, it explodes, leaving him a little blackened, and blinking. “Essentially, what I do is much the same--I fuse Personas. But the ones I make are special. They might be more lucky, or less, than the average. Some might change their own skills randomly. Some might be holding an incredibly valuable item within their own selves; it could be anything, really. But you won’t know anything until you fuse it. You get no prior warning, it’s all a gamble, let’s say.” He wants to see if he really enjoys risk as much as he purports to.

You figured it was probably something unique to the other person in the limo. But what you find more interesting is that he’s just there. You knew that nothing happens within this room without a reason, so there must be a reason why you are meeting him.
Persona mutations? Can you explain more?

It could be an item that might present itself, it could be a skill changing, it could be a bonus to its stats... or it could be something a little riskier. The thing is, though, you won't know until you level the Persona a bit and allow the mutation to occur. You can stop it, if you want, but it's entirely random. The results could be good, or bad. Of course, I can also record any changes in the Persona in the Compendium for you. ... That make sense? It's a bit long-winded, I know." He liked games of chance, though, and ways to help, and this provided him with both.

Although he did wish that the other could indeed unshackle him, being in this position- it sent shivers down his spine.
"You made this prison yourself," he replies swiftly, giving a light shrug as he shifts the tome in his hands. "This is the prison you created in your own soul. If you really want to cast off those chains... you'll have to get stronger." It's a simple thing, he thinks. At least they've got a feisty one, here, he supposes. "Now, then. My name is Michael. I can do a number of things. More specifically, I deal with... let's call it Fusion Fortune. You see, I'm interested only in helping you grow so you can cast these irons off. And to do that, I want to know... which is the real you?"

Michael absolutely hates alcohol. He's fine if others imbibe (best not be in his Room if they do--), but he won't touch the stuff with a ten foot pole, because he's someone all about trying to control himself and fears he'd let something bad or rude slip if he was under the influence. Same for any kinds of drugs, really. Gabriel on the other hand would totally slam a drink if given to him, but lbr, it's probably against the Rules. He's long since stopped caring about whether or not he counts as a minor, since even HE isn't sure how long he's been in the Room, now, and it hardly matters, since technically his 'rebirth' wasn't that long ago.
"Good to see we have similar beliefs Micheal. I do believe people will ascend as your true master thinks we can. Though I doubt he would care either way. Though I now know I can’t force anyone to change, so I guess we must be patient with humanity." Umbra said with a sigh. He had made this part of his purpose now, seeing as he had no real reason for living anymore.
The fallen fool sighed as he pulled out the tea kettle. “Want some?” He asked as he poured himself a cup.
He can't help the sigh that escapes him, in turn. "I am only ever as patient as need be, though I'd appreciate if people not come to me acting like I don't understand how the world works." It's a mild jab in your direction, Umbra, but it's mostly meant good-naturedly. He's too kind to be angry for long. "Yes, please. ... Thank you." Always, always polite. "In all honesty... it will hardly be easy. I recognize as much. But... I have faith." He believes in humanity's strength.
