I don’t wanna say I hated the movie cause it’s something I generally don’t like to do as there was effort and people who believed in it behind it but… idk the only thing I could think is ‘this is not Peaky Blinders’. I don’t know if it was just me, but it didn’t feel like PB

And I HATE this cause I really wanted to like it. After four years I was expecting some proper ending to say goodbye to the show. At this point I preferred s6’s ending.

I’m just gonna say this now. If you love Poe’s work and have Netflix watch Fall of the house of Usher. It’s without a doubt Mike Flanagan’s best series. It even beats Hill House and Midnight mass my other two faves. It’s an absolute love letter to the works of Poe, brutal gothic horror set in the modern world.
