danielblxckâ:
Daniel had been on a dinner date with Katherine when he heard the people muttering about a party. It took one look at Katherine and the decision had been made. While she did whatever she needed to do, Daniel went to pick up some beers from the shop and they were supposed to meet back up at the party. Or at least he thought that this was the plan? Just in case, Daniel messaged Katherine, indicating he was already there. âDoesnât hurt.â He muttered to himself, before slipping the phone back into his pocket.Â
As he walked through the crowds of people, he was met with a lot of high fives, claps on the back, and a drink was placed in his hand. Perks of people liking him. He was about to turn to a group of guys who seemed to be taken over the kitchen when he felt wetness over his stores. âFuck.â He muttered as the smell of vodka tickled his nose. âYou really should watch out.â Finding the nearest table, he placed the beers and his cup there, looking around for anything that could soak up some of the drink off his chest. âYou may be should start by looking where youâre going?â He asked, her through offered her a polite smile. âDonât worry about it. It will dry.. Though I bet everyone will think Iâm wasted already.Â
âI know, I think someone pushed me, I-...â She stuttered slightly, as she looked over her shoulder searching for the person who had bumped into her; it wasnât an easy task, especially since everyone were pushing each other around; a horde of moving bodies mashed together. âIâm sorry, I really didnât mean to-...I can show you where the bathroom is, you can get cleaned up, just come with me.â She offered, quite nervously, as she tried to clear a path to the bathroom door, guiding the other man, âCome on, I canât just leave you like that.â She offered the man a soft smile, hoping to get on his good side, after that little accident.Â
abigail-nelsonâ:
âIâve never heard of that, but Iâm willing to try it.â Abigail offered, a soft smile staying on her lips as the other spoke about not having other girls to play video games with. She couldnât speak on that, because her friend group before Lake Grimstone certainly didnât have people that were overly interested in video games, period; but she was sure they existed. For a small while, Abigail had wanted to be a model, though she didnât have the confidence; the aspirations only came from watching Americaâs Next Top Model anyway. âI mean, it is a good show, Nev and Max are doing the right thing, but itâs a little upsetting for the people that end up getting catfished.â Abigail followed her new friend down the street, towards the arcade, âIâve never played an arcade game. I donât know how good Iâll be.âÂ
âThatâs the spirit, Abby. Can I call you that? Abby? I usually make up a nickname for everyone after two minutes of talking to them.â She chuckled, as she walked down the path to the arcade; hands tucking into the comfort of the pockets of her hoodie. âIt doesnât like my type of show, but we can watch it together sometimes, if you want to.â She offered her a genuine smile, hoping to have made a friend of Abigail, even if theyâve only known each other for a half an hour or so. âOh, itâs not an arcade game. Itâs a video game, Iâll show you the room with the playstation. Itâs a special video game, though. Iâm not spoiling anymore, youâll see for yourself.â She grinned, childlike, as she almost skipped down the path, tugging her new friend along, âCome on, come on.â
Mindy knows my soul, k?
sophiamiddletonâ:
âOh, right. I can manipulate reflections, though Iâm still working on it. I definitely donât have as much control as you do, or know as much about my power as you seem to know about yours.â Sophia had been a little scared of it, if she were honest, but only because she didnât want to mess it up and hurt someone, or herself. She could control it enough, and use it if needed, but she was working on it, learning more about it. âWell if you need to talk about it, Iâm always here. As will people in the group if you wanted.âÂ
âOh wow, really? How does that work? Can you show me?â She was getting more and more giddy with excitement, with each question, before she had to stop herself from invading even more the other blondeâs privacy. She had to remind herself that not everyone was as open, as Aubrey was. âWell...I donât have as much control as you think I do, and there are certain things that I still havenât tried, and I donât even know if Iâll ever be able to try. I, uh, lost control once, I can get very ambitios, and I really wanted to push my limits, and well...â She paused, bowing her head to her chest slightly, as she let out a small sigh, âI hurt people....which I wasnât really sure it was possible with my ability, but I guess every ability can go out of control and hurt someone.â She explained, before glancing towards the other girl, âThanks. If you need some help with your ability, or anything - you know where to find me.â She offered her a warm smile, as she pointed at the cafe behind them. She usually spent most of her days there.
johnacostalgâ:
Usually John was slick enough with his skating skills to avoid any contact but it seemed from the way that the girl was regaining her balance that he had misjudged his skills massively. âNo, itâs not okay. Youâre not hurt are you?â He gave her a moment to respond before answering her own question. âFive yearsâŠgive or take. Itâs one of those things I felt i needed to get intoâŠreally makes you feel the air in your lungs. I needed it.â He placed his board on the floor. âYou skate too?â
She felt a slight pain in her ankle, she mustâve twisted it a little, but it wasnât anything major that the man should worry about. It wasnât even something worth whining over. âNo, Iâm fine, I think i bruised up my ankle a little, but Itâs nothing I canât handle.â She shrugged lightly, as she offered him a bubbly grin. âOh, absolutely. You have no idea, how much my parents hated that thing.â She chuckled, as she stepped on the edge of her board, in order to lift the other side and take a hold of it. âNaah, I just walk around with it, so people think Iâm cool.â She laughed once more, playfully messing around with the other guy.
harleyhidalgoâ:
âYeah, thatâs what happens at house parties.â Harley laughed, though he followed her to her room anyway, thankful for a replacement show. It was far too early to be seen as drunk enough to have alcohol spilled all over him. âI mean, I guess if I had to place myself in a Hogwarts house, it would be Hufflepuff⊠But Iâll take the Star Wars one. Cooler for a party, I guess.â He chuckled as he reached out to take the Star Wars top, quickly swapping it for his own shirt. Harley held the damp shirt in his hand, before threading it through his belt loop, tying it there so he wouldnât lose it but wouldnât have to hold it. âThanks, I appreciate it. I mean, Iâm gonna guess alcohol will get spilled on this before the end of the night but at least Iâll be too drunk to care then.âÂ
âWell, I wouldnât know.â She shrugged lightly, a small chuckle escaping her lips, as she continued to go through her closet; God, she had way too many clothes that she rarely put on. She even had some dresses that she had never wore, not even once. Nodding her head, she tossed him the shirt, before moving to rest her back against the wooden surface of her door, awaiting for the male to finish changing. She didnât want to leave a stranger alone in her room. âGod, I know, thatâs why Iâm wearing this.â She pointed to the oversized hoodie she was wearing; yes, she couldâve put on a dress, but she didnât feel comfortable in one. âJust donât forget to give it back, I love that top.â She chuckled, âLooks good on you, though.â
summerxjacobsâ:
Summer stumbled slightly as Aubrey wrapped her arms around her. The time manipulator could smell the alcohol radiating off of her roommates breath and she snubbed her nose slightly. âSo you donât know everyone that showed up?â Summer asked, glancing at the girl to try to figure out what she was trying to say. âYou justâŠ?â
She opened her mouth to say something else and then her whole body jumped when she heard something break behind them. âBeing a good host doesnât mean you give away our clothing. Or anything else, for that matter.â Summer said as she jerked around in Aubreyâs grip, trying to figure out what was broken. âI need to clean whatever that was up before anyone has any serious injuries from it.â She unraveled herself from Aubreyâs arms and grabbed a broom and a dust pan.Â
Summer moved towards where the item had broke and she frowned before letting out a sigh. It wasnât of much importance, but it had been a large, decorative vase that had fresh roses in it that was now splayed across the ground; water and all. âWould you hand me a towel?âÂ
Aubrey wasnât exactly drunk, she had a couple of sips of her drink, and that certainly caused her to relaxed a little, but the reason she hugged her roommate was because she was really glad to see someone she could complain about that madness to, without sounding like a total nerd who had never even been to a party. âSummer, I donât know what happened. One second we were five people and the next...â She paused, truly not knowing how to explain the whole party madness.Â
âNo, itâs fine. Iâll give them one of my shirts, I have plenty, plus-..I bumped into them, Itâs my fault.â She let out a small, anxious chuckle, as she scanned the room for the broken object. She could only hope to be some kind of technology, that would be an easy one to fix. Once the other blonde made her way towards the broken vase, Aubrey followed right behind. âSummer, you canât clean now, people are just going to make more of a me-...â She was rudely interrupted, when two bodies crashed into her, and she turned around sharply, âCan you back off? Weâre cleaning!â She raised her voice slightly, before grabbing a towel, âHere you go.â She offered her roommate the cloth, as she tried to make sure nobody else crashed into them.Â
zachariahsdiseaseâ:
âIâm immune, not scared, little girl.â Zachariah scoffed, a laugh escaping his lips. âDefinitely not scared of you eating me. You could be dead before you got even close to your first bite.â It wasnât said in a threatening tone, more matter-of-fact because, well, it was a fact. He could have any disease do its job within moments. âA long way? Where did you come from?â When she pulled out the bag of chips he shook his head softly. âIâm good. Donât really like chips.â
Little girl? She was 23 years old, the man didnât look older than she was, but perhaps he had misjudged her age by her looks as well. âAre you threatening me?â She furrowed her brows lightly. Had she somehow gave the man some weird creepy vibe, for him to react this way? She could only guess, but his demenour didnât make staying next to him any easier. âIâm not a little girl, and Iâm not scared of whatever youâre implying with that comment.â She shook her head, before she placed the chips back in her backpack; eyes scanning their surroundings, and the nearest path she could take home. âThe swimming pool.â She mumbled; hair still slightly damp.
sophiamiddletonâ:
She watched in awe as Aubrey worked her magic - almost quite literally - definitely feeling the excitement build as the vision came to fruition on the females laptop screen, and as easy as that it was done. âThatâs perfect! I canât believe how fast you did that. And now what? You can just send it to everyone? Just like that? Thatâs a pretty awesome power.â Sophia grinned excitedly, hoping now that more people might actually turn up, and the town could help each other through this difficult time. âOh, Iâm sorry to hear that. Do you miss them?â
Aubrey nodded her head as an answer, to every question Sophia asked; her lids falling shut a for a brief moment, as if she didnât exactly need to look at the screen, when everything seemed to have projected within her mind. In a few minutes, everyone recieved an email about the event. âVoila. Itâs all done.â She offered the other blonde a grin, âThanks. Whatâs your special power?â She arched her brows playfully, âI,uh..I do. We just-..We just really donât get along, but Iâve gotten used to it. Itâs alright.â
abigail-nelsonâ:
âIâm alright at the shooting zombie games, like on Call of Duty, but Iâm gonna confess right now that any other horror games, especially ones that make you jump, Iâll be a complete wuss.â Abigail chuckled sheepishly, before a shrug came to her shoulders. âI donât do it often, if Iâm honest. Like, itâs not my go to activity to chill out or relax, but even I have to admit if youâre frustrated itâs good to go on a game and just mindlessly kill things like zombies. Plus, Iâm sure thereâs probably no correlation between how someone looks and whether or not they play video games.â She said softly, a shrug on her shoulders. âHandy power to have, I imagine. God, imagine how quickly you could expose a Catfish! Youâd be like, a Super Nev. Please tell me you know what the show Catfish is?â It is unashamedly one of Abigailâs go to bingewatching shows. Abigailâs brows furrowed softly with slight confusion, and intrigue, as she followed Aubrey out of the door. âWhere are we going?â
âOh, then Iâm definitelly showing you Amnesia. Itâs alright, Iâll be your human shield.â She offered her a bubbly chuckle. âNo, I know. Iâve just never had a girlfriend who enjoyed video games. Iâve always been playing with boys. Plus, I think itâd be a shame to spend time playing video games, when you can be on the runway.â She offered her another chuckle. Of course, she was only paying her a compliment, she didnât mean to upset her in any way. It was the truth, that she didnât really get along with girls, hence why she barely knew if any actually enjoyed video games. Probably. âUm,no. I donât think so...â She said sheepishly, slightly embarassed of the fact, âIs it cool? Maybe Iâll give it a try.â She offered her a genuine smile, as she lead the other girl down the street, âThe arcade. Iâll show you a really cool game.â She almost jumped with joy; little did the other girl know, that Aubrey actually created a mod for that same game, that allowed them to do anything they wanted.
greenman-lucasâ:
The longer Luc looked at their bombsite of a flat, the worse it looked; another crack in the countertop appeared, another stain on the carpet that would take more than a little elbow grease to get out. Greenman was not in the slightest bit interested in doing anything but taking his water and passing back out in his bed. âThatâd be the drink, Aubs.â Luc murmured, glancing back her way from the kitchen as he lazily slumped up against it. He was refilling his water every few moments and his body was protesting every time he moved.Â
He wasnât all that surprised to hear how horrendous he likely looked, his hair was askew at all angles and he had only just thrown on some clothes from the floor. Luc wouldnât have been surprised if his eyes were bloodshot and reflecting how awful he felt. Two oâclock was not late enough in the day to even consider cleaning the chaos up; he was noting the discarded cans and bottles on every available side counter. He shook his head, rubbing his temples to ease the headache that was taking him.Â
The clattering earned his ire, his eyes darting to the pole sheâd thrown his way with disinterest. âI presume so, not unless youâve had it stored in your room,â he muttered, well aware she was the only potential candidate, Summer was the least likely to have anything; in fact, he was probably going to get a grilling from her, Aubrey too about the extent of last night.Â
Another thing he was not all that thrilled about. Scoffing, he called back over to her at the idea. âItâd still be there, youâd trip over all the shit you couldnât see if I hid it.â he replied, rolling his eyes and considering asking Summer to rewind some things⊠just for the sake of the clean-up. âIâm going back to bed,â he grumbled afterwards, trailing across the room, sidestepping over a broken chair and heading towards his room.Â
She grimaced, as he reminded her of the amount of alcohol she had drank last night. God, she couldnât believe she drank that much. âLuc, please donât ever let me drink this much. Look at my small body, I cannot handle a whole bottle of vodka, and I woke up next to an empty one.â She shook her head; messy, blonde locks falling all over her features, which she didnât even bother to fix up. She had a bruise on her thigh, which she didnât know where it came from, she couldnât remember bumping into something. âDude, why would I need a strip pole? Are you still drunk?â She made her way over to him, lightly slapping him on the arm.Â
âGod, I hope this doesnât turn into âdude whereâs my carâ, cause I will lose my shit.â She spoke, more to herself, as Lucas prepared to leave the mess and head back to bed. âNo! Donât you dare leave me alone with this!â She quickly caught up to him, hooking one arm around his, and dragging him over to the mess. As she dragged him, her feet stumbled over a broken vase, a small piece of glass sticking into her foot, âOw-...Dammit.â She mumbled under her breath, before bending over to look at her foot. âLuky, take a sponge and start cleaning! Now!â
harleyhidalgoâ:
Harley was always up for a party, and when he had heard there was going to be a gathering, he was quick to find out where and invite himself along. Hopefully his friends would be there, but he didnât bother to text to invite them⊠Not when things were a bit dangerous recently. He knew things at a party would get messy, but he didnât expect to have a drink on his shirt half an hour in. He wasnât nearly drunk enough to walk around shirtless, âAnother shirt would be a good start, then weâll worry about another drink.â Harley had plenty of time to drink, even if this party shut down, they could carry on elsewhere. âYour tops may be too small, but hey, Iâm sure I can rock the crop top look.â Harley grinned, showing the other that he really didnât care too much about his top⊠It would wash, after all.
âIâm really sorry, dude, Itâs just-...really crowded here.â A slight, nervous chuckle escaped her lips, as she eyed the stain on the guyâs shirt. He was just one of the many she was going to bump into, or spill a drink on, or even cause more demage by the end of the night. She just knew it. And it wasnât even because she was a clumsy person, but because she wasnât used to being around that many people in a small space, especially while drinking. âNo, I just thought I spilled your drink, and then I saw that Itâs my drink, and...Sorry, Iâm rambling.â She laughed once more, now more at ease, that she found out the other man wasnât really mad about the whole spilled drink thing. âCome on, I think I have something.â She beamed, as she lead the man to her room. âOkay, so..I have a hufflepuff top, and a-...â Aubrey paused, as she continued to go through her closet, âStar Wars one. Take your pick.â She held the two tops, before chuckling, âI can find something else, I just donât really know if theyâll fit.â
ethanxparkinsonâ:
Ethan furrowed his eyebrows at the comment, his lips pursing slightly as he glanced towards the girl. âInteresting choice of words.â He muttered before taking another sip of his coffee. He didnât really understand what made her say that but he wasnât going to question it. It must just be one of her quirks.Â
âWho said I slept with them?â Ethan asked as his eyes moved to meet the others. âI never said I slept with them. Nor did I say I was a sex god. Which, Iâm not. I appreciate you having some high assumptions about me, but I definitely am not.â He licked his lips and shook his head. âYouâve pegged me wrong, blondie. Iâm guessing youâre used to guys being that way?â He eyed her closely. Sure, he was pretty cock at times, but he didnât just sleep around. Not like some of the guys in the town. He had always been more focused on his power and his Olympic goals than to just waste his time on a lot of women. Although, that didnât mean he didnât have one night stands every now and then. âAnd I donât normally stay this long to chat with someone in a cafe. Look at us, averting from our normal ways.âÂ
âThose are not high assumptions. No, no, donât even think I had some high assumptions, because I was only stating what you had already implied.â Aubrey straightened her posture, and tried to regain some of her confidence back. âYes, Iâm used to guys with giant egos, blondie. And you do seem like one of those. Iâm not buying the whole innocent act.â She took another sip of her coffee, as she studied the man closely. She couldnât quite figure out the man yet, so she squinted her eyes, as if that was going to help. âOh, and why is that?â She arched her brows playfully, âIâm not averting from my normal way. Iâm only... curious.â Aubrey admitted, which wasnât really a surprise, if she wasnât curious, she wouldnât continue talking to the man.Â
zachariahsdiseaseâ:
âYou couldâve moved on completely, not settled on any bench near here. Choices were made that led you to be sat next to me right now, instead of next to him or somewhere else completely.â Zachariah shrugged, though he glanced at the drunk on the bench opposite and sighed. Addiction really was one of the worst diseases. It took over the body completely, the host doing anything for a fix of whatever it was they were addicted to. It was sad to watch, but he would never show that side of himself.
âCoulda, woulda, shoulda..â She sighed, before lifting her shoulders in a shrug. âAre you immune to being friendly? Iâm not going to eat you. Iâm only sitting here for a few minutes, I walked a long way, Iâll be out of your hair in a few minutes or so. Jeez.â She spoke, before digging into her backpack for a bag of chips. âYou want some? Might lighten up your mood.â She offered him a playful smile, as she offered him the bag.Â
summerxjacobsâ:
âI have no idea. I literally just got home.â Summer ran a hand through her long light blonde hair and let out a groan. There were way too many people for her liking. She also wasnât a partier but she didnât want to be a debbie downer towards her roommates when they had pitched the idea.Â
Summer frowned when she watched Aubrey bump into someone and spill her drink all over their shirt. âNo no.â Summer shook her head back and forth. âIf they want a shirt, theyâll have to leave and go change. We arenât giving them a new shirt.â She insisted as she placed a hand on the personâs arm and pushed them away from Aubrey.Â
Aubrey let out a soft sigh of relief, the second her eyes fell upon the other girl, âSummer, Summer, Summer...â She repeated over and over, as her feet quickly stumbled to Summer; arms wrapping around her small frame, âOh, Iâm so glad youâre here. I have no idea how it got so crazy, I swear. I donât even have that many friends, I just-...â She tried to explain, each word escaping her lips faster than the last.
âBut I-...I wanna be a good host, I mean, as long as they donât break anything-..â As soon as she said those words, she heard a loud crash of glass on the wooden floor of their living room. For fuckâs sake. She didnât even want to look at the sight, she could only hope it wasnât something too precious. âThis is insane.â
