Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the opening of the Audrey Hepburn exhibit at @proudgalleries but Rare Audrey Hepburn special correspondent @henryjjwilkinson (Henry) was in attendance and captured these beautiful photos for us to enjoy! . Audrey Hepburn: Beyond the Screen from Aug 17 - Sep 30 at Proud Galleries in London. . Proud Galleries is pleased to present ‘Audrey Hepburn: Beyond the Screen’, a photographic exhibition displaying rare portraits of Audrey Hepburn captured by a selection of high profile twentieth century photographers. This collection brings together the work of Terry O’Neill, Norman Parkinson, Bob Willoughby, Eva Sereny, Mark Shaw and Douglas Kirkland; each celebrated for their distinct portrayals of Hepburn.

When I was looking at photographs of Audrey with Robert Wolders this image sprung out immediately. I love Audrey’s expression here. Maybe she’s reacting to something the photographer said to her to try and get her attention or perhaps she was simply having a wonderful evening but you can see the joy in her face. I am sure the fact she was accompanied by her beloved companion also contributed to that dazzling smile.
