There is toasted coconut, chocolate chips, and pecans on top, and a delicious caramel sauce drizzles over everything. A delicious treat for any event!

Ingredients: 1 box chocolate cake mix. 3 eggs. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 cup buttermilk. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut. 1/2 cup caramel sauce. 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Instructions: Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put paper liners in a cupcake pan. Put the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a large bowl. Mix everything together well. Use two thirds of the cupcake liner to fill it up with cake batter. After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Do this while the cupcakes are baking: toast the sweetened coconut flakes over medium-low heat in a dry skillet until they turn golden brown. Put away. Take the cupcakes out of the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
