I donât know why but...
âYou shouldnât feel like that. I have just one question, why do you feel like that?â
Ever since I started watching Narcos on Netflix, Iâve been having dreams that Iâm some successful Colombian drug lord. A pretty damn good one to. That doesnât sound too crazy does it?
âDoesnât sound as crazy as finding your future lover in a dream. I mean that tops all kinds of crazy, to me.â
âIt feels so weird being home after being on the road for so long.â
âA good kind of weird or a bad kind of weird?â
âLike what?â
âMaybe something like the opposite of what you are, such as a devil.â

serena: hi so funny story
serena: my car may have or may have not broken down as i was driving & i'm just parked on the side of the road. LOL SO FUNNY RIGHT
serena: fuck. pls help.
augustine: sorry, but you need to ask for someone else
augustine: my tires were slashed
âYes that would be me. Thatâs why there was a shit load of cameras around me when I got here. Pleasure to meet you, man. I donât care if they see me. Iâm just his son. I have nothing to hide.â
âHopefully you wonât have to face that a whole lot around here. But, what do I know? Iâm not famous and such. Anyway, I hope for the best for you, and that you donât get corrupted by fame with being as humble as you seem to be.â
âFor the most part, yeah. I donât mind it at all. You know I love you. Awww, stop. Youâre gunna make me cry. You know me, my phoneâs almost always in my hand. So I wonât lose you. Do I need to get one of those leashes that they use on kids for you?!â
âI know you do, honestly, how can I forget? Youâre the little sister Iâve wanted for years and years. Hey, you never know, there might be a day when you leave your prized possession at home and youâll be wishing you didnât. Absolutely not! Thatâd be impossible to put on me. Iâll make sure to stay by your side when we go through that corn maze, okay?â
Evie smiled, keeping her eyes on his as he introduced himself. âAugustine? Not a name you hear everyday. Itâs a good name.â She said with a bit of a giggle. She dropped her hand and she noticed that her skin felt tingly, almost as if she was craving his touch once more. As he spoke up again she nodded. âAbsolutely! I actually have a picture of me in it!â She said before reaching into her purse and pulling out her cell phone. She had a ton of missed calls from her manager, probably wanting her to get on a flight to go somewhere but she needed to be home. She missed being home and if it meant getting to see Augustine, sheâd do anything. âI wore it for a runway show and unfortunately it was one piece I couldnât keep but it just fit so perfectly that Iâve been just dying to have.â She said, swiping through her pictures before landing on it and showing it to him. âThere it is! Itâs just the perfect shade of red and I just thought it looked really good on me so I wanted for my own.â A blush creeping up to her cheeks as she took in his scent and kept her eyes on his lips a little too long.
Augustine nodded with a grin toward Evieâs comment. He felt like he was in some kind of dream all over again, but with some sense of belief that she was actually real and not make believe. Her excitement over the dress that she wanted was something he wasnât used to, mostly because the people he dealt with were so unhappy and stuck up, which wasnât something he was into. âAwesome! Thatâs even better than a description,â he replied, as he waited to see the picture. He listened intently as she told him about the dress and why she wanted to find it to keep. Once he took a look at the picture on the screen, almost feeling his jaw drop at the sight of her in the dress. âItâs perfect for you, and I think I know of a very similar or almost exact replica of that dress on this floor. Let me take a minute or so just to find it for you,â he added before walking to the exact area he remembered it being. Once he got to the rack, he found the dress she was looking for, he just hoped it were the right size she was looking for. He ran back to her with the dress in a few different sizes for her. âI found the dress and I took a few different sizes of it, just eyeballing your size, thatâs all,â he said, placing the dresses on the closest empty rack to him to display them.
âYouâre going to get me back, huh? What are you going to do? Throw eggs at my house like some middle schooler?â He chuckled softly throwing the tool in the air while catching it, âI donât know,, your car looks way better with the tires like that,â He joked, âI donât know why youâre so pissed,â
âIâm going to do something that will move you like this moved me.â Augustine took a deep breath as Phil chuckled. He tried to hold back his anger, but nothing he was told in anger management was helping whatsoever. âIâm fucking pissed because you tore into my fucking brand new tires!â He yelled again to get his point across. âThanks to you, Iâll have to find a new ride until I have time to get new tires.â
Whatâs wrong with cute and cuddly?
âIt looks like what youâd wear on a daily basis. You should go for something on the daring side.â
It had been a little over a year since Evie had been back in her hometown; Emmaus, Pennsylvania. She had been busy traveling the world and doing all different kinds of runway shows and photo shoots for different high-end brands and while she got to keep a lot of beautiful pieces from her jobs, there was one thing in particular that she really wanted â a red dress that fit and complimented her figure perfectly. She knew it was a long shot that it would be in the one shop that was in town but she also knew it couldnât hurt to try and see if there was a way to get it shipped to her home store. She walked in and immediately greeted a few familiar faces, giving them all hugs. âItâs been way too long since Iâve been home!! How are you guys?! I was really hoping you guys would be able to help me find this specific dress.â Out of the corner of her eye she saw someone come out from the back and it was almost like everything had slowed down and she couldnât tear her eyes from him. Making her way over to him, she smiled sheepishly and offered a shaky hand. âH-Hi, Iâm Evie. Evie Daniels.â Evie was surprised at her own tone. She met people everywhere for a living; other models, photographers, designers. Why did he make her so nervous? It wasnât until she really took in his features did she realize why he looked so familiar. He was the person she had been seeing in her dreams the past 3-4 months or so. It was almost like she was drawn back home for this specific reason â to meet him. âI uhm, I was wondering if you might be able to help me find a dress by this designer. I wasnât able to get my hands on it in France but I was hoping Iâd have more luck being back home.â She said with a charming smile.
His eyes scanned over the store to see if there were anyone in need of anything.  Out of the corner of his eye, he took notice of all of his co-workers who knew one of the clients, hugging them and reminiscing about something, which he didnât want to eavesdrop on. As the woman walked over toward him, he put on that honest smile, which he hardly ever shown in store. Hearing her speak, he shook her hand, noticing how shaky she was. âHey, itâs alright, Iâm Augustine,â he said trying to ease her nerves. For some reason she looked and sounded so familiar to someone he remembered, but he couldnât think of where she was from, because he never met her here before. There were also the dreams heâs had, and she looked a lot like the person he was thinking of in his sleep. Letting go of her hand, he looked into her eyes and could sense that she knew him and he almost wanted to believe his thoughts. Without the will to risk the weird questions, he refrained from asking about that and listened to her request. âOf course I can help you with that. Can you describe what it looked like, better yet, do you have a reference of the dress?â He asked sincerely.
Philip turned around to the sound of banging at the window, Augustine. The raven haired boy ran towards him, yelling. âLook who came to party?â He smirked at the other, his screwdriver twirling in his hand. âAw, are you mad? Did I not tell you to not mess with me? You know I can do worse,,â
Looking at the weapon of choice, Augustine rolled up his shirtsleeves before he responded back. âPetty, thatâs what I call it, and I know what youâre capable of, but you donât need to slash my fucking tires.â He wanted to strangle the other male, but he wasnât willing to pay for a hospital bill on his property. âSleep with one eye open tonight, because Iâm going to get you back for this.â

Augustine waited around for some new customers to arrive since business was slow like usual. It was typical for the store to have some slow hours, but for three hours, now that was ridiculous to him. Before clocking out, he couldnât help but overhear his co-workers discussing some famous clientelle. He didnât care much, especially since heâs met most of the âfamousâ clients they had in the past and they werenât pleasing to him, mostly because they were unreasonable with their requests. Overhearing the short and annoying form of his name, he walked back out of the designated âemployee onlyâ area to find out what they were asking for. âWhat do you want?â He asked before he took notice of the customers that looked around. âI take that back, do you want me to help them out?â He asked, and received a nod in return. âThanks,â he said before he walked around aimlessly like he did at first.

Philip wasnât sure why he disliked Augustine so much, the guy didnât really do anything to him. Maybe it was the way he felt that he could overpower the other guy or maybe he thought he was cute to play around with,, either way he decided to come to Augustineâs house and give him a surprise. He arrived at Augustineâs house and took his screwdriver that he brought,, âLosers going to lose,â He smirked as he got out of his car,, he admired the nice pressured tires on Augustineâs car. They looked like they were newly brought,, he took a deep breath before slashing it with his tool. The air seeped out quickly as he quickly slashed the second one. He only wanted to slash three since he wanted the other to suffer for being rude, âAnd this one is for thinking you can argue with me,â He said slashing the last one all the way to the ground,
Today was not Augustineâs day. He lost a client who he admired, and it really couldnât get worse. That was what he believed until he heard some suspicious activity going on outside his house. He hoped that nobody was doing anything to his yard or vehicle. Looking out his large glass windows, he could see someone messing with his tires, two of them deflating. âHey!â He yelled, banging his fist on the window to get their attention.Â
He ran outside and could see who it was. Phil. âFucker!â He shouted as he ran towards Phil. âPhil, you didnât need to do this. Iâve never slashed your tires, or even trashed your possessions. Do you honestly feel like this was appropriate? Because I see absolutely no evidence to say this was even necessary.â He could feel his anger rising as he stood over him.Â
