pokotho design concept. notes below

i think pokotho (they/them) would work well as one of those huge puppets that take multiple people to operate. but in this case, pokotho is the one in control and members of their hive help them move. i imagine the puppet is (seemingly?) made of just fabrics except the mask. the puppet itself is hollow, the hive members are "the insides" of pokotho. i also imagine these people dont have any defining features, they are quite literally cogs in the machine mushrooms... i like mushrooms... they work well too because of the infectious aspect. there are even parts of rot in here

i wanted to make some kind of reference to opera singers (the singular voice!) and even though i didnt reference it on purpose, i think the outfit has the vibe? almost like a huge layered dress? i like tails so i gave them a tail no reasoning here. i also like that they kind of look like a jellyfish

Another neat detail I noticed in Wake Up Dead Man is that when Father Jud says he’s just spent the past hour writing down everything that happened and summing up the story, it actually happens exactly one hour into the film.
