Stories of an Ending World, "Prologue":

Heyyy people! Here it is, finally, the beginning of my new comic! You met Shi'sukk and Torga few weeks ago, well now is the time to see their story! I'm shitting my pants making this post — I'm really invested in telling this story now and I put a lot of effort into making these first pages during the past few weeks... Also, yes, you're supposed to read it from left to right (like a western comic), and let's all pretend that I didn't fumble the composition of my pages and that it was all intentional that Shi'sukk is walking against the reading direction to show her toil as she proceeded into this dark forest hahahaha Anywayyys, I don't feel like painting or making illustrations at the moment, so the next post will probably be chapter 1! I'll find a way to archive all the chapters on another platform/website to make it easier to read on the long run, but for now, you can find the pages on this tumblr blog and on my Instagram! Happy reading! I hope you'll like this story as much as I do!

im also a little bit extremely angry about the assumption - by my family or doctors or the government or whatever - that my number one priority wrt to my health would be anything other than "feel as good as possible"

it feels almost transgressive to say like "actually, if working isn't going to contribute to my quality of life, I don't care about it" and "The only reason I would want to reduce my amount of medication is if it's impacting my quality of life."

my neurologist said in our first appt like "obviously we want you to be on as few medications as possible" and i did not succeed in mentioning that, actually, i will take 50 pills every day for the rest of my life if it means i get to feel okay most of the time.

like i don't even really care about being healthy. "being as healthy as possible" is not my #1 priority. my #1 priority is feeling good, followed closely by being able to do things i want to do. 'taking fewer pills' and 'exercising' don't even make the list. those are not ends, those are means.
