I urge you to try and be comfortable with the idea of being alone. Being on your own, relying on nobody but yourself is truly the best thing you can do in a conformist society.

I often see women on here talking about the importance of female bonds. While they are indeed very important to have and maintain (if you manage to meet anyone to have a decent bond with, that is.) There's simply no point in pushing yourself in various restricting scenarios that are often exhausting and not even all that rewarding, simply because you realise being friendless in this current society is something shameful. Just because you're both women doesn't mean you'll be able to easily connect with her socially. If you're "different" in any sense, there's still going to be plenty of things you won't be able to grasp amongst "normal" women. Social cues, ESPECIALLY between women, will personally always seem like a rather mean jigsaw puzzle to me that's simply made to make sure I never "get it." It's frustrating, and I've actually felt most at peace knowing I don't HAVE to have many friends or people to socialise with. I simply enjoy most of my company with my cat and girlfriend, and I have a friend or 2 that I occasionally see.

This uphill battle of trying to understand whatever the unwritten social rules are is simply not worth it. Especially women are guilty of trying to be as agreeable as possible, and I urge you to stop trying to conform so tirelessly and desperately to the borderlining-on-insanity fuckery that often takes place on the social societal playground.
