I don’t know where this came from but I NEEDED it
That autism feel when you’re doing a word search with your NT friend and they do it by just staring at the paper and waiting for the words to jump out instead of systematically going line by line looking for the letters and like… what the Fuck
Autistic people can fall in love
Autistic people can be loved
Autistic people can have steady partners
Autistic people are not inherently incapable of loving or being loved
Oh my God. Thank you so much. I’ve been screaming into my pillow for ages about how I’m too weird to be loved. Thank you so, so much.
💕💕💕
I’m autistic and have been in a committed loving relationship for 2 years. 100% we can do/have anything we want!
Anti anxiety.
Always important xx

Auti$m $peak$ does not speak for me! I am not a burden! I do not need a cure! I am not a tragedy! I am not broken so I do not want to be “fixed”! I am not a “missing puzzle piece”! I do not need awareness!
💡 All I want is the acceptance and love that I and all the other Autistic people deserve and just be myself!! 💡

a lot of people think executive dysfunction just means procrastinating with homework or other school/work related things, so here is a list of simple things that are unnecessarily difficult/energy consuming for me bc of executive dysfunction:
brushing my teeth
putting something back in its drawer
actually untying my shoes to take them off/put them back on (I just stuff hold the back of my shoe so it doesn’t get crushed then shove my foot in)
recycling instead of tossing something in the trash
taking out the trash
standing up from my desk chair to do something else
stapling a paper
refilling my water bottle
ordering at a fast food restaurant
laundry in general
sharpening pencils instead of switching to a different one
getting up from bed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night
returning library books vs continually renewing them
logging into websites when my username or password aren’t saved

Nt gifting in Valentine’s day: chocolate, flowers, sex.
Me, an autistic gifting an adhd person in Valentine’s day:
attention people with executive dysfunction, add/adhd, or people who generally struggle to remember their to do list yall need to check out habitica
this is my dashboard on desktop (they have a really convenient, easy to use app, too!)
What habitica does is it turns your daily tasks, your habits that you want to form, and your to do list into an rpg game. You level up, gain experience, and play the game just by marking things as done on your to do list. You can put literally anything in there, too. whenever i have a big project i’ve gotta do, I put every step, down to the letter, in habitica (which is a fucking superb way to xp farm while still staying organized).
The game is super fun because if you’re like me, and you work best with a rewards-based system, you’re literally in heaven. Everything you do gets you points, and bonus stuff, and helps you unlock parts of the game.
If you struggle to get your shit done, seriously check out habitica. It’s free and I’ve only been using it for like 2 weeks and I already have a vastly different mindset than I used to about keeping myself on track.
That ADHD/autism feel when

be gentle with yourself.

so easy to forget how far you’ve come.

That feel when you procrastinate for so long and then you’re suddenly hit by motivation. I tend to hyper focus so hard on my work, I forget to eat, or drink water, or sleep, or stretch, or like, do any basic care or maintenance required for life.
Somebody send help I need water
*sigh* I astound myself
