We ended up with an amazing 192 contestants!! Due to this size, they have been split up into three 32 round brackets. The match-ups were randomly selected but some adjustments were made to place more popular characters with each other so more niche characters would get a chance.

I'm going to finish this competition but I think, after this, I will not be doing this again. It hasn't been all bad but overall, this wasn't the fun silly thing I thought it would be, and maybe that's on me. I understand that everyone is joking for the most part but I can't say I find it very funny.

Threatening to punch, send anthrax to, or kill people for choosing a character over the other. Insinuating that I purposefully made lopsided matches, that I "tied a character to train tracks and was laughing dastardly about it" or whatever. Making fun of typos I made. People saying "this character isn't autistic why are they even here" when the vast majority of entries were submitted by other users and I just wanted to be understanding. That even if I didn't see a character that way, it was probably meaningful to someone else that they could see themselves in a character they love. The constant shit-talking and arguing over a meaningless poll. It's too much for me and I'm sorry that I'm having a hard time ignoring it. I hope you guys can still enjoy the rest of things but after this post, I don't think I'll be doing much more than putting together the rest of the matches. Thanks for reading.
