Sideswipe had made it to Earth long before Sunstreaker. And unfortunately he'd gone missing for nearly just as long. He'd been part of those who first landed, Jazz, Ratchet, Prime, Bee, and even Ironhide. But after their fight with Megaton, after Jazz had nearly offlined, upon regrouping Sideswipe was just... gone. No amount of ahving searched had found him in the city's ruines nor the outskirts.
Now that Sunstreaker had reached Earth though, his spark spun in agony, reaching for something that was just... gone. Not offlined, he'd know that, but it was empty inside. Humans that knew of their kind often mistook him for a Decepticon with his volitile nature, the fact he'd not saught out the bots, nor was ever seen with them.
In fact he'd never even alerted the faction to his arrive, chosing instead to try and scour the planet for the empty area in his spark. It was simply a coincidence he found himself staring at a much bulkier mech than himself, someone whose coloring stook in stark contrast his vibrant yellow. Instead of a greeting, he simply asked "Where is he?" Sideswipe had last sent a com to him, talking about the mecha here and Sunstreaker hoped that he was simply stasis locked and safe with the Bots.
Ironhide raised an optic ridge as he looked at the mech in front of him, he was sure that he looked familiar but couldn't place where, yet he did look similar to Sideswipe, wherever that idiot had ended up this time "Who exactly?" he asked.
"My brother, Sideswipe. Red idiot, this tall." He held a servo to about shoulder height. "Never looses a fight except to Prowl or Jazz." That might be a tiny over exaggeration. Sideswipes lost a decent amout, it's why Ratchet wants to throttle him everytime he's in the medbay.
"Who are you again?" Optics glanced the mech over, top to bottom. Big, brawny, and with more weapons than neccessary on display. He recognized him but couldnt place exactly who.
Ironhide's good optic narrowed slightly, yes he knew Sideswipe and had always suspected he had known him from somewhere, now it seemed he had a brother, a part of him was thinking back to his time during the Gladiator Pits, where he had sometimes seen two brothers there, whether willingly or not he never knew, he came out of his thoughts when the yellow mech asked him his name "Ironhide" he replied "your brother, he was with us, landed with us when we first arrived to this Planet, but he's missing and have been trying to find him"
Ironhide heard a voice call his name, it almost sounded like Optimus, but it sounded...off, he turned to look at the mech, he looked like Optimus, but the red optics made him instantly wary "Who are you?" he asked.
".....a dark timeline.... Cybertron never returned to life... Megatron killed me in battle... Unicron found us both... reformatted us..... I am... his servant"
Ironhide looked a little alarmed at the mention of Unicron, the Chaos Bringer, a Planet eater "You serve Unicron?" he asked, backing up from the other mech, his arms twitched a little, tempted to bring out his cannons, but he had enough sense to know that Nemesis, Optimus, Megatron, whoever this was, could be capable of anything.
"Survive huh?" Ironhide asked "how do I know you haven't got ulterior motives?" he had been hurt in the past, a lot, so naturally he had a hard time with trust.

Weapon(s): Two cannons on his forearms, a Heavy Iron and a Heavy Iron 2.0 attached to his back.
Personality: He comes off as gruff and a bit blunt, he barely trusts anyone, however he does respect others as comrades, to him respect and trust are two different things entirely. However, he is dedicated to the Autobot cause and does have a kind Spark under the gruff exterior, he would have a comrade's back if they needed it, he comes off as the strong one of the team. But that does not mean he hasn't got trauma, but he never discusses his personal feelings to anyone since he has kept himself closed up for so long and feels that he would be showing weakness if he did, and because of the past that would never do.
Appearance:
Background: Ironhide was born in Kaon to a Sire and Carrier, but when his Carrier left when he was a Sparkling his Sire took care of him and raised him as a single Creator, however, his Sire contracted a virus that had no cure at the time, so he had to watch his Sire deteriorate but stuck by him through it all. When Ironhide was thirteen stellar-cycles old, his Sire passed away from his virus, but Ironhide didn't get the chance to grieve for the loss, because he was kidnapped and ended up at a place known at the Gladiator Pits, he was forced to fight against his will and a*use was commonplace for him, he developed a hardened exterior while there, hiding his fear through anger and aggression, he was always told that things like crying were a weakness. He finally escaped when he turned an adult and by chance he ended up coming across a mech named Optimus Prime, who at the time had been newly appointed a Prime, Ironhide had naturally been distrusting of the Prime, but Optimus offered him to stay with him and asked Ratchet to treat the injuries on him that were both old and recent, Ironhide was wary of Medics because the Medic at the Gladiator Pits did a bad job when it came to fixing injuries on him, but he allowed Ratchet to treat him. Ironhide ended up going to the Academy to become a Weapons Specialist so he could be of good use, after becoming a Weapons Specialist he joined the Autobots, he fought alongside Optimus throughout the war, even though he had already fought so much, he was still dedicated to his duty. During one of the last battles on Cybertron, he left the planet with Optimus, Ratchet, Jazz and Bumblebee, ending up on Earth.

He had finally escaped after what felt like an eternity, Ironhide had been in that horrible place since he was thirteen stellar-cycles old, now he was an adult, the scars from that place a constant reminder of it. He looked around, everything looked so pristine, untouched by the fighting going on inside the Gladiator Pits, it was like a new world despite knowing it was Cybertron, he heard the sound of alarms coming from where he had just escaped from, he had to run or he would get caught again, so without looking back he made a run for it, he didn't know that he could transform into an alt mode, how would he? It wasn't something he had been taught, but as he ran he felt something, like he was imagining being on four wheels rather than two pedes, before he knew it he transformed into an alt mode, engine revving before he sped away "What the frag?!" he exclaimed, a bit unsteady in his driving but at least didn't run anyone over.
Ironhide didn't know how long he drove, hours maybe, but he just wanted to get as far away from Kaon as possible, he was now approaching a new city, Iacon, maybe someone here could help him.
How long had he been here? Time just felt like it had blurred together at this point, but he at least knew that he was nearing adult age, having been in this place since he were thirteen stellar-cycles old, he almost couldn't even remember what the outside world looked like, all he could go by were memories of his time as a Sparkling, even if it had been in Kaon it had still been home, just him and his Sire, he felt a wave of emotion come to the surface, almost, at the thought of his now deceased Sire, but he couldn't cry, he couldn't show weakness, he wouldn't give the guards the satisfaction of seeing him cry, the scars were a permanent reminder as to what happens if he does, he looked down at the shackles on his wrists, would he ever get out of here? He would probably have to go out and fight again soon, he had to, he had no choice, who would he have to face this time?
It had happened again, another night, another night terror of his past, Ironhide awoke from recharge, had he been a human he would've been in a cold sweat, he took a few deep breaths to calm his racing Spark, this was almost routine for him now, as sad as it was, he couldn't remember the last time he had had a proper night's recharge without being plagued by nightmares of his past, even though a part of him knew why, he had no healthy coping mechanisms for the nightmares, his PTSD, the flashbacks, all he could do was just keep everything bottled up, to not show signs of weakness, the Gladiator Pits had certainly drummed that into him about showing his emotions being a weakness, he gave a sigh and got out his berth, this was routine, wake up from night terror, go for a walk to calm his nerves, go back to sleep, have another night terror, wake up in the morning, rinse and repeat. He quietly exited his quarters, glancing around the dark hallways of Diego Garcia, before he quietly walking towards the exit of the hangar.
