The Cathedral group, mountains in the Teton Range are rugged and craggy. Some of my favorites to use as a backdrop to something really spectacular in the foreground. This shot is two exposures, one for the land taken at the edge of twilight with greater depth of field and one for the sky and stars, taken at midnight, with shallower depth of field and a faster film speed (ISO) for low light shooting. I also did a very mild application of light painting in the field with a diffused flash light to illuminate the Lupine. Lupine in springtime, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
