Draco Malfoy has a diary dedicated solely to all of his interactions (read: advances) with Harry Potter.
Today Potter looked at me 5 times during breakfast, which is 2 more than yesterday. I think my advanves on him are working.
In class today Potter and I reached for the same jar of gurdyroot. Our hands almost touched.
Iām working on making my intentions towards Potter more obvious. Today I told him that his looks upgraded from a trash bin to a regular bin. He told me to shut up. Normally he tells me to āSod off,ā so I think my advances are working.
I overhead Potter telling Weasel that he prefers blondes to brunettes. I started choking on my lunch and had to skip class because I got salad dressing on my tie. Pansy says Iām overreacting but Iām not so sure.
Potter was in Diagon Alley today wearing a green jumper that just perfectly complimented his eyes. We made eye contact and I tried to wink but Iām not great at winking so I pulled a weird face and Potter glared. He didnāt say anything, though, so Iāll take it as a win.
I think Iāll tell Potter he can do much better than the Weaslette, and hopefully implement the idea of dating me into his head.
Update: The plan did not go as expected. Potter punched me after I told him, but he avoided my eyes and punched my cheek instead so Iām going to consider it another win. What if he subconsiously doesnāt want to mess up my face because he finds it attractive?
Itās been 4 days since Potter has spoken to me. I should get his attention.
I spent all night coming up with the perfect idea. Today I told Potter in Potions class that his hair looked like a lion attacked it. He called me an arsehole, but to be fair I was doing him a favor. He would look extremely sexy with a haircut.
Potter got a haircut. Merlin. I did not think this through. I couldnāt stop blushing, so I didnāt go to class today. I wonder if Potter missed meā¦
I donāt think my advances are working fast enough. Iām reevaluating, and I think itās more efficient if I first become his friend before he realizes how wonderful I would be as a potential boyfriend.
Potter always compliments Granger for recieving the highest marks. Itās clear he values intellect in his friendships. The past four weeks I have worked to improve my grades in hopes of passing Grangerās ranking. It hasnāt worked yet, but I make sure to mention my grades loudly around my friends just in case Potter eavesdrops into my conversations.
Granger was working with the Weasle today in Potions, so I made sure to leave my table open for when Potter was inevitably the last student to arrive. Our hands touched 3 times in class.
We had to continue with the same partners for Potions again. Today, Potter touched my hand twice and my arm 4 times. Today was a good day.
Today, I made a joke in Care of Magical Creatures to Blaise and I heard Potter laugh from across the room.
Today I worked up the courage to tell Potter I like him. He got angry and told me to stop making fun of him. Iām not sure why?
Pansy says Iām an idiot. I suppose I shouldāve waited another day. Potter didnāt look at me during classes or meals.
Itās been a week and Potter still refuses to look at me. Iām very worried - I hope he isnāt sickā¦?
Pansy said I should try and talk to Potter but when I sat next to him in Potions, he got very red and told me to āsod offā before I could say hello. Iām not sure why.
I sat next to Potter today and he didnāt say anything. I wonder if he felt sick because he was very red again. I told him not to puke on my shoes and he got upset before he left class. I think he went to throw up in the bathroom?
Potter still wonāt talk to me!
I cornered the Weaslette and demanded she tell me what is wrong with her boyfriend and why he wonāt talk to me. She laughed and said they werenāt dating? Iām very confused, and she didnāt even tell me whatās wrong with Potter!
I caught Potter staring at me from across the street in Diagon Alley and demanded he tell me why he was ignoring me. He said itās a long explanation but I was already on my way to get a drink, so I told him he could follow me. He didnāt end up telling me what was wrong, but we did have a lovely conversation over a cuppa.
Potter smiled at me across the hall during breakfast.
