My Client’s Challenges
I think the biggest challenge my client will face is becoming a social organization instead of an organization that just has social media. I have worked with them throughout the semester and they have many goals and visions. I advise that they only focus on one goal at a time to make sure that goal gets completed. I am also worried that once the position of Membership Coordinator changes, all the social media accounts will go dormant again. It is important to give the next leader all the resources they need to run the accounts properly. This includes what personality is the organization’s accounts, what vision and goal are the accounts trying to achieve, and simple things like usernames and passwords. Who owns the account (what email is being used) will have to be changed as well. If none of this is done, the organization’s social media will become inactive and lose any chance of becoming a social organization. I also hope that they will keep my notes for the upcoming years as I think they are also vital to the social media’s success. I really liked in the lecture how the Professor emphasized the connection between community and communication. This is also something that my organization struggles with and I hope my recommendations will help.
This is my last blog post for BIS315. It has been a blast!
