Hey guys! 

Unfortunately things have been busy in my life and with this new job, I think I have to take some time to get used to, so I want to focus on it and school so I can figure out what I can do. I think I have to leave the roleplaying world for now.

In the mean time, my friend is a newbie with roleplaying, but she has seen me on this blog and she found it so interesting that she wanted to join! She is making her own character, however, her character is in need of a roommate (or more like a person who would house a rich freeloader). Is anyone willing to do so?

Ava was not in the right state of mind. A friend had left her a reminder that tonight was the night for the special masquerade event. A must go event where no one is allowed to reveal themselves, sparking flames in Ava’s eyes.

She rose from her bed and began to get ready. Ava didn’t want to let her friend waiting. She picked a black mid-thigh length dress that was given to her in one of her photo-shoots a while a go. It was elegant yet risque, perfect for a night that no one will remember... Or so she wouldn’t after planning to drink till unconsciousness. At least that’s how it always went. Alcohol was anyone’s best friend if they knew how to approach it.

The sun was setting and the bright building became its replacement. The music was playing loudly and a part of Ava shook. It was excitement. After all these years, Ava hadn’t attended a party like so, and it was thrilling. She stepped inside and saw all the masks all around, mingling and dancing with one another. As tempting as it was, she still needed to look for her friend. 

The moment she saw the unique black ring, Ava smiled and made her way towards the woman. “Here I thought you were dying to drink with me, but seems like you’ve already started.” Ava smiled widely and extended her hand out. “Where’s mine?”

It was 6 am and Ava pulled her hair into a ponytail, ignoring the short strands of hair that couldn’t be pulled back with the rest. After finishing up her vegetable drink, she was out the door for her morning run.

She started walking in her neighborhood, taking in the everyday scenery. It never got old to her, especially since there is a new type of flower everyday on the neighbor’s little garden pot. Ava pretends that the neighbors do it just for her, to put a smile on her face. Although it wasn’t true, it was a better reason than to acknowledged their bad gardening skills. It’s a wonder how a plant could die so quickly with them.

It was 6:40 am and Ava began to jog through the park. People were stretching already to join in and some barely arrived.

It was... It was...

Ava stopped in her tracks when her dream suddenly pops back up at the sight of a little girl running towards her. It had been years since the incident, but Ava could never forget. Her malfunction was still present and always will be. The little girl smiled as she ran. Little steps with laughter bombarded Ava’s ears. Her flushed face turned white and a cold shaking hand gripped her iPod tightly. Ava’s heart couldn’t stand it as it began to beat faster. 

Before the little girl could reach her, Ava ran. She ran as fast as she could, trying to escape something that wasn’t physically there. 

With heavy breaths and tired limbs, Ava ran out of the park and into the main streets. Her sight was blurred by held back tears and pushed back the people that were in her way. Despite their loud remarks, continued to run until she heard a little boy scream, “Mom!”

Ava’s body froze in sight. There was a loud beeping coming to her left but all she could hear was that voice.

Before him, Ava had past lovers. And with all of them it was difficult to move on, but she always did. She managed to forget them and live a regular life without the tubs of ice cream every night with a tissue up both noses and puffy eyes. She managed to not think of them, except for one.

This particular person would never leave Ava’s heart because they did not end in bad terms. No, they did not, but it was something far more worse. It was a pain that Ava never thought to experience but did. Till this day it doesn’t hurt as much, but the thought of him pulls something inside her heart because the heart always remembers.

In the past, Ava had always been afraid to visit Makoto’s grave. Young Ava did not want to believe he was gone. She didn’t want that type of confirmation. Not for that. She would pray every night, hoping that he would hear her apologies for not visiting him. For a girl who loves danger, she was too scared to face a result of death. 

It didn’t take long to find him now. After looking around her old notes, she found the paper that had all the information of where he was. She went with a flowers in hand and two cups along with their favorite drink. She stayed there till nighttime, reminiscing of the days he was alive and the days they spent together. All the stories he told and the worries he had.

After that, Ava went back the next evening.

She didn’t expect to see a piece of paper next to the flowers she placed yesterday. It made chills run down her spine and she almost hoped that it was Makoto who left her a note. But it wasn’t. It was a more feminine type of handwriting and it contained a question other than a nice joke or a quirky remark. 

‘I’m a high school friend of Makoto. He and I had a close relationship before his passing and I finally had a chance to come visit him. Are you his sister? Mother?’

Ava folded the same paper and placed it down where it had been. She stayed there and left after dark.

“Good luck on your suicide mission!”

Eyes narrowed at the situation. A sweat drop rolled down Ava’s temple as she tried to ignore the girl. She was in no position to be shaken and Lilah should shut it if she doesn’t bother to help.

“Suicide mission? Look, I can do this.” Ava responded, taking of her mic to concentrate on the enemy on the screen. Sure Ava was 10 levels below the boss, but she had a chance… or thinks she has a chance to kill it.

And of course it didn’t take long for the girl on the other line to start laughing when hearing a groan from Ava’s side. “Stop laughing! You died first!”

Instinctively, Ava would hurry and put on anything fancy looking and be ready to party, however she was not that Ava again. At least that’s what she has always wanted to believe and something she hopped to be true one day. It was the lifestyle that might have led her this way and she didn’t want to go back. However she found herself in a fitted black mid-thigh dress that accentuate her long legs with laced sleeves that connected to her shoulders. Her black heels raised her height and made her feel more confident.

She arrived at the event and there were already more people than she imagined. Her heart race sped up and began to have the case of the cold feet. Ava’s stomach churned, but she still kept walking further in. The party was already lively with people talking, drinking, and leaving the scene to somewhere more private. It was everything she remembered when she was younger only this time everyone is older... but the memories are still there. 

Ava found the nearest empty table and placed her hand-held purse on top. A part of herself was regretting to attend, but the other part of her wanted to come out and have some fun. It had been cooped up inside of her for so long that it wouldn’t miss this opportunity. It was a time where the mask shows everything she used to be. Everything that she still is.

“Did he dump you because he found out you were satan?”

Ava faked a smile at the younger girl, suppressing herself from doing or saying anything that she would normally execute. She was older now and should know better than to go off on some kid. “No.” She simply said, looking down on her hands resting on her lap. So close to her stomach. So close to what could have been. “I guess he just didn’t like me anymore.” Ava’s fake smile turned genuine, but her eyes turned sad and her voice dropped to nothing.

“Ooh, I love it when you talk dirty.”

Ava threw her hands down in frustration, letting the shirt in her hand drop back into the hamper. She was aware of the debt to pay back, but she didn’t expect him to go as far as to bring a mess into her house. It was hard to not complain.

“Jiyong, I’m being serious right now! How do you even manage to– wait what are you doing!?” The male, who had been spread out on her couch since morning, raised his legs up and placed his muddy shoes up on her living room table. A few bundles of dirt dropped on her table and it didn’t help that some of it was still wet from the morning rain. “Get your feet off the table! Now the table is covered in mud!” She glared at him, but Jiyong looked unfazed.

“Love it.” Me mouthed, biting his lip in the process.

“It’s only for today, Ava.” She mumbled to herself, pressing her index fingers on each side of her temples and going back to separate his dirty clothes.

( hello! i have finished up the major parts of ava’s information and here is the LINK to it. also a small disclaimer/information about myself. here is the LINK to that. i will be writing some plot ideas soon, but in the mean time, does anyone want to make something from the event that is going on? this is so new to me so i’m excited! )
