Well, the true part is, in the year 536,

They continue until the following year, causing unseasonal weather and crop failure worldwide. It is possible this is caused by the eruption of: Krakatoa, Ilopango in El Salvador (Central America); in North America; or in Iceland.
So, basically almost every thing dies because of darkness and cold. Now, I watch a lot of history channel and I don't know if this is something my high ass saw that Giorgio guy with the crazy hair say or if I made this up...but that would be a nice time for the rise of a vampire to take place.
