Besides paying for a residence or buying a vehicle, have you ever spent more than $1000 in a single transaction?

So Mango really went downhill again. I'm kind of not doing great so I will keep this brief and simple as I try to explain best I can.
1. Mango likely has something called avian ganglioneuritis. If I understand correctly, many captive parrots (as many as 1 in 3) has Bornavirus. However, not all of them will become symptomatic and not all of them will progress to ganglioneuritis.
2. I believe she has this based on what I've read, what others more experienced with it have said, and what the vets have said. In fact, this is what she was going to be tested for yesterday, but her being too weak means they couldn't.
3. It makes sense that she would decline again if this is what she has. There is no cure for it, but there is treatment. The goal right now is to get her stable again, get the tests, and get this finalized. The good news is that she JUST TODAY started Celebrex, which is used to treat avian ganglioneuritis. The fact that she has tested negative for so much else also makes this most likely.
4. I am not putting her to sleep yet because she has previously recovered AND if we can get it confirmed that this is what she has, there is a way forward and this regressing so much can stop. She's been too much of a fighter for me to give up yet.
5. The pictures of her here are of her in an oxygen chamber thing at home. She recovered greatly after being in there for a while.
6. I am extremely sorry to be asking for donations again, but the Tufts visit being around $4K definitely cleared me out. I am hoping this is the last time I have to ask, since, as I said, if we can confirm this is what she has, all these expensive appointments can stop.
7. Any donations or dice purchases now will go towards meds, tests, recovery as I may need to bring her in Monday for fluids, and some foods like Harrison's Recovery that are easy for her to digest. I will post pics of the vet bills.
If you are in a place where you can help out, here's how:
PayPal - PayPal.me/pepperandpals
Venmo - amandabl89
You can also buy dice from my shop - cinniharpyscrafts.etsy.com
I am planning some special dice in collaboration with an artist friend to help pay off some remaining vet bills on my CareCredit card.
Again, I am so sorry and ashamed to ask again. I truly hope this is the last time. Thank you. Your help and well wishes have meant so much.

A shirtless man with surgical scars on his chest replies to a comment reading, "poor lady what did you do to your".
The man says:
"So, I'm actually not transgender, and this is a really good example of why it's important to be aware that different medical procedures can leave very similar types of scars. And also just not to make assumptions about people in general. For example, yes, the scars I have do look really similar to what they call, um, I think top surgery scars. But they're actually from, uh, getting a set of my ribs removed, so I could suck my own -"

So I went to lunch with my mom today and there were some people she knew at the restaurant so she stopped to say hi. And for the first time ever she introduced me to someone as her DAUGHTER! Gods that felt good 💜
Reblog if you’re polyamorous, support polyamorous people, or think polyamorous people and relationships are valid
Polyamory is the only surefire way to ensure a full D&D party.
Okay but like. I personally could not resist walking through there. How do you NOT. it's a hole in the woods?? How do you NOT want to go over there???? Insane???
Logically, I know its a portal to the Fae realm. But I am powerless to resist, as the Fae intended.
*Looks at my life* "Ok so I'm the Fae's problem now? Cool."
Brother you couldn't keep me outta there.
