Do yourself a favor and just write everything out of order. That's legit what's stopping me from updating my WIPs because the back of my head is demanding it has to be consecutively written in order or else it won't make sense.

....which is kind of dumb because when I came up with the plotlines they were from scenes right in the middle lol

Does your character use their powers, if they’ve got any, as much as possible? Or do they try not to depend on them too much? If it is the first one, then what happens when they’re in a situation where they can’t use them at all?

I have multiple OCs that have powers but I’ll go with the most interesting(it’s a group):

Koami’s powers are always active, she can’t turn them off in a normal situation. But during specific situations or under certain circumstances where her powers were gone or suppressed, she would be able to work without them but her physical abilities might be more limited.

Niran, he barely uses his powers. He only uses them if his friends or someone else is in trouble but other than that, he tends to hide them.

Don’s powers are innate, he can’t turn them off. But he doesn’t heavily depend them on.

Celine’s powers are something that she learned and developed, forcefully. Without her powers, she might lose herself as she views her powers as redemption

earlier today i told an acquaintance in passing that i'll often be in the middle of a novel and think "man i wish this shit were more ambiguous" and had to reiterate twice that i wasn't being sarcastic before they believed me, so this post is to say: i love when writers don't bother to explain everything, i love when stories end uncertain and unsettling, i love being required to think as a reader, i love when stuff makes no damn sense, no i'm not kidding
