Summary:
Werewolf Y/n stalks Arthur Morgan at night through the woods. He’s got his pistol out once he catches onto an unsettling feeling, then sees you. (This is one of two or a few reactions he’d make if he saw you) Also, your wolf form is pretty much the size of a dire wolf. Your head is up at chest-level to Arthur when you’re on all fours.

Y/n follows him and stalks him in her wolf form. He is unsuspecting for a while, but can feel something is not right in the back of his neck. “Hello? Someone there?” Slow making his movements, but subtle as he reaches for his pistol. Misty moonlit night, in this shaded part of the woods. You can’t help but want to approach him. And you can’t help but want to stay hidden, either. Why were you stalking him at all? You missed him.

But as you approached, you had by some bushes and foliage. Your black fur only reflected bits of moonlight, still leaving the outline to caress your silhouette. From the moment he’d heard you he’d look to your direction. Had his pistol aimed upwards, but when he saw it was you, slowly he came to recognize. “Oh, it’s only you. I thought I’d might be in some trouble.” You had placed your paws not too far from his horse, who he had to soothe also. He came off his horse and knelt in front of you. You dipped your head to him, happy to see him. Your eyes reflected the moon’s light any time you looked up at him. Pale night blue. You felt his leather gloved hand bring satisfaction to the top of your head, and then both of his hands petting your cheeks and ears. Rustling your fur nicely. He seemed happy to see you. “That’s my girl. Good girl…” His low, gruff voice soothed all your tempers and nerves. It was nice to hear him again. You could hear him chuckle because he noticed he’d made your tail start to thump up and down excitedly. “Do you still feel that same way when I call you that in the daytime?” He wondered. To answer, you moved your muzzle against the vulnerable side of his wrist, and you started to lick it and lap at it. But it didn’t stop him from petting you, until you moved your paw up over his shoulder, and point your nose up and behind his ear to breathe in his scent. The way it had always secretly comforted you. He’s made a sound of fond surprise and you brought your other paw up over him, hoping to kind of bring him closer to you, but an abnormally large wolf your size was too much weight at once for the man, and ended up with you on top of him. You began to lap at the salt on his face and neck, but your tongue was huge, and wet. “Woah!” He began to groan in a way that meant, not this again, and tried to move his arms to block his face from you, but he couldn’t hide from you. He laughed and tried to tell you to stop without force. You didn’t listen. You only began to tickle his ears with your breathing in your nose, and this made him wiggle around more. He laughed and tried again. “C’mon, stop it! Get off me ya big hound!” But a noise only you could hear made you snap your head up at the direction it came from. Your ears perked and you remained dead focused and guard high. Arthur hadn’t noticed but used this gap to wipe some wetness from his face with a small ‘yuck’ and chuckles. He rolled out from under you and patted your side. “Good to see you too.” His voice low and fond, till he noticed how tense you became. He looked to where you were looking, then back to you. “What is it?” He pushed quietly. You could only hear the sounds of hooves slowly crescendo. Arthur growled and grabbed his pistol again, hand ready for the second one. Then you just quicked to the bushes again. Leaving him confused but ready. Not too long after he saw someone on a horse he’d recognized, approach him with a message from Dutch that the plans changed, and he needed him back at camp. With a reluctant groan, “What does he want now?” He got on his horse again and the other went ahead, while Arthur looked in your direction with a bit of sorriness that he had to cut this short and leave you again. He left with a “HYAH!”, and you crept out into the road again and watched him leave again.
