She’s an honorary boomer. In my first playthrough of new Vegas I didn’t really like the boomers all that much and left them alone but in my most recent playthrough I had a lot of fun doing their quests and after Boone and the Courier help the NCR secure Hoover Dam I like to think they head back to Nellis and live amongst the boomers
