“Maybe blue...” Avery trailed off, thinking about what that might look like. They didn’t doubt that Chunhua would make it look amazing, Avery had watched them dye their and the other members’ hair for years now, but Avery had always been hesitant to try out new colors. “You wouldn’t even have to bleach it that much more, I bet the colors would look nice.”

“Did whoever teach you Mandarin speak Cantonese first?” Avery asked, laughing softly. “Yeah, you’re probably better at Japanese. I’m okay at it because of Demi, but even my English might be a little better.”

“mm, i can’t say i trust gaia’s stylists very much yet. the hairstylists, at least. i think we all do pretty okay on our own in that arena, though– me with my pink and demi with their silver. and jung doing whatever they like.”

“So far they’re better than the stylists at KBS, at least,” Avery replied, remembering a couple of very backhanded compliments they had received before. “You’re right, everyone already knows what their hair really should look like. Except I’m really just okay with anything, but brown and black are just boring.”

Avery sighed at their reply. “Could we just go back to China, then?”

“Maybe we should go outside,” she suggested. “Or in a practice room. Somewhere with less valuable, fragile things.”

“Netizens call me ‘fragile’ all the time,” Avery joked, or at least tried to. Successfully coming off as joking was never a guarantee with them, unfortunately. “If we go outside maybe it’d help you if I moved away.”

“Of course I actually liked it, your vocals sounded really good with the song and I liked the music video a lot,” they replied honestly. “Eternity’s debut sounds so fun.”
