Why is the blog ending?

truth be told, i was running out of ideas and didn’t want things to become stale and disingenuous. i had a good run here, but better to die a hero and all that. 

i am still around tho, and you can check out my awful main blog if you’re into that

when i initially kicked off avianpost-generator in december 2016, i had no idea it would have ever achieved the level of success it did. what began as an inside joke/parody of furrypost-generator soon spiralled off and evolved into its own entity entirely.  throughout most of 2017, i updated things here almost daily, following mini-story arcs and answering asks about vore all while trying to stick as best i could to character. it became sort of a fun experiment, and a very rewarding one at that. i have been able to meet some really phenomenal people, and i’ve had some great experiences.

this blog built its foundations upon parody and its own absurdity, but unfortunately, there’s only so much one person can do with that material. most of you have likely noticed my content running a bit thin in the past few months. while i ran this blog pretty actively for a good year, i simply feel as though i have stretched the content thin. outside of the general bird posting, i have said what i wanted to say. i have presented my thesis. now, at long last, it is time for me to return to the void from which i came…
