I got cleared to wear deodorant again!!! Finally the evil is (kinda) defeated.

I still reek bc stress sweat and active healing incisions and all that, but at least no more bedrotting BO to lump on top of it. Thank the Lord.

Had the energy to go the movies and walk around the mall a scooch! Obviously exhausted now, but the confidence boost to know i can do something other than rot on the couch was really needed. Plus I got to see how I look in a button up now (though i still have the post Op compression wraps so it just feels like i'm binding again)

But yeah, 12 days post Op, feeling good, just sore as absolute hell.

Still can't do much, but even the shift from spending the day in bed to spending it on the couch has been a game changer. It was really just so our pup wouldn't jump up on me, and she still can't, but I feel more able to defend myself being 9 days post Op.

Just gotta take it a day at a time. Every day I get closer to this damn compression bandage coming off. Just gotta hold it together until then. One day at a time.

Drains be gone!

One week post op appointment done and over with. Finally got to shower (straight nuclear level stink I stg) and jeepers crappers I’m exhausted. We figure that with the drains taken out, my body’s going from survival mode to repair and recovery mode. So after absolutely decimating a burrito, I took a two hour nap, which I never do.

Gotta keep the wrap on for three more weeks, which is gonna suck, but that’s small potatoes knowing that I’ll be done with it forever afterwards (belaying a late in the game complication but you know what I mean)

Still laid up with drains in after Top Surgery, unable to shower.

Pros: Got a bunch of editing done and should have the next dial tone chapter out later today!

Cons: I S T I N K

These post op wrappings just feel like a too tight binder, and I keep feeling the need to adjust my tits in them before remembering that they're gone. Which is wild bc like, I swear I can feel a nip in there even though I did NOT get grafts.
