hey so i’ve been asked about my painting process…….. i basically complete a painting in two distinct layers and i’ve taken a picture of each for this latest work - underpainting (left) takes about 20 mins maximum and then the rest of it is dedicated to making it more robust (an hour more of painting following the base layer in this case)

the underpainting is always really charming
